The Manor @ Val-Du Lakes

Lots of rooms so a very good option for large groups. Owners are fantastic people. Also, don't forget to check out the restaurant/bar next door. It's about 5 min from the dunes as well.

Awesome place love it

Great place to stay! We loved all the room for parking, unlike most rentals at the dunes, 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, very convenient. The bar next door was also convenient. Large yard for the kids to play in. We will definitely stay here again. The owners were very easy to deal with and nice. Only downfall (for us) is we had a few little kids with us and the house is full of nice antique furniture and nice hardwood floors so I was a little stressed about kids accidently breaking something or making a mess. Awesome place to stay.

We stayed at The Manor over Memorial Day weekend. The house is beautiful and accommodates large families/groups; however, be warned, the house is full of antique items, including furniture. A $500 refundable security deposit was required for our stay, so just be cautious if you want your security deposit returned in its entirety.

The area is beautiful and there's a lot of activities for families. The beach is not far from the location. Lewis Farms offers lots of activities for young families with kids. Dune riding and horseback riding are also close to the location as well. And the bar and grill is a stone throw away from The Manor. And, at The Manor itself, there's plenty of room on the lawn, a fire pit, and grill to use during the stay.

Overall, our family enjoyed the area and The Manor.

Great house especially for large groups, the antiques made me nervous, otherwise the house is well equipped. Coin laundry was a bit off putting, when you pay good money to stay somewhere I expect to have laundry privileges. The hosts were very accommodating and answered all of our questions.
