National Coney Island

Had a fantastic breakfast at national coney Island before my flight.

The service was fantastic, everything was very clean, the food came out fast and delicious.

Would recommend you try it next time you fly out of Detroit

Great little Coney Island in Detroit Metro Airport. Prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected in the airport. Staff is always friendly and super quick. Hostess I had was super kind. I will definitely come here again.

We ordered the breakfast wrap, chicken tenders and an omelet and for being a fast food at the airport, everything was really good. The chocolate was awesome.

While this is still just a fast food joint, we had sweet waitress who was really on the ball and the fast food was delicious. The hot dogs were simple but I dig it. The cheesecake was surprisingly good

Greek salad and coney dog ftw. Service was great also and prices not bad for airport.

DISCLAIMER: This is five stars on an airport food scale - not all restaurants scale. That being said, the food was cheap, it was classic diner food, and service was friendly and quick. It's not going to blow you away but it's a better value than spending your money at other restaurant fast food spots and just as good, if not better. (Excuse my baby Greek salad in the picture - I had already taken a few bites, it looked better than that at first)

Excellent chilli dogs !!! Perfect onion rings!!! Waitress was decent to above average... hardly any wait..... USB plugs at every table.... two thumbs up

Friendly, perfectly recommended menu item, fast, hot, tasty. Couldn't really ask more of National Coney Island inside an airport. Good by any measure.

Nice place to eat breakfast before a flight. Everything was good. Drinks are expensive tho

Was catching a flight from dtw to orlando...stopped in for breakfast...is was SO good and my waitress (Brittney Daly) was so awesome and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure i had a great breakfast ( they didnt have Tabasco and she brought me her own personal one... That kind of care is never heard of in this day and age ).and considering it's in an airport.. the prices are way better than I expected... I'd give them 10 Stars if i could..

As far as airport food goes, this was great. I mean, it's just coney dogs and fries, but they were delicious. The food is also reasonably priced (for an airport). It was nice to try some Detroit cuisine before I left the city. The waitress was very kind and they let me sit and charge my phone for a bit before I had to make it to my gate.

The amount of people crying that they can't take their take out food into the dine in area like it's not clearly marked with 43 different signs, to which if they waited as long as they said they did they would've had enough time to read and see, is ungodly funny to me. I've noticed if you don't want the staff to be jerks, don't be a jerk to them. They were more than upfront with everybody that comes into the store on what you can and cannot do, and what they can and cannot do.

Loved it waiting for my flight. Their draft beers are fresh and well kept, waitress was super friendly, and gyro with a soup was awesome. Nice job to the team at this restaurant.

Coney dogs was crunchy and delicious just how they suppose to be. Food came out pretty fast. One coney is not enough you might need two or three especially if your going to a place that don’t have them.

This restaurant has the best waitress’s and staff! The food was great, service beyond reproach!

The only downfall is the Manager Daniel, leaves a lot to be desired. Attempted to give him a compliment on the food and staff and he didn’t seem to care to even talk to a customer. Some of the staff all agreed when I said he’s not friendly. Maybe some additional customer service training would go a long way on how to treat customers and his staff.

The were very friendly. The Breakfast special was good. The site was busy at 5:00 am.

Food was decent for a quick bite before heading to our flight.
But the service was gReaT!! Kacey was absolutely outstanding with her cute self!! Everything was on point not forgetting anything, with little extra's☺

I come through every year when visiting family. Always stop in on the way out. Service is fantastic and food hits the spot. Shout out to Amanda who upped the experience.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. They know that everyone is on a tight schedule and is quick and efficient. Also the prices are very reasonable for an airport restaurant. They usually have decent beer on tap. I will always go here before my flight if there's time.
