Zakry is awesome!! I contacted him about my phone and within 24 hours he was able to order all the parts and get back to me. He even finished before the promised time so I can have my phone back before work! 100% would recommend this place for anyone looking to get their devices fix!
For pricing, I contacted other places and they either don't carry the parts or they would quote me several hundred dollars more than Lake Effect. Overall, great service and fair prices!

The best service of all time. Super friendly guy that greets you with a smile on his face ready to tackle whatever problem your device may have. I’ve brought my shattered phone to him multiple times and he always fixed it within an hour. I even had an issue with the second screen replacement and I brought it back in and he fixed it for free, with an additional screen protector. Highly recommend!

My son dropped his phone. Zakry tested it and helped us find a used replacement that fit our budget. He got the service activated and installed a screen protector. He had a great selection of near new iPhones to chose from. Very happy with the selection and service! Hopefully we don’t have to go back soon:)

This is the best repair shop in Grand Rapids for computers and phones. Zak is truly amazing. He fixed my 2016 Macbook Pro screen for the best price yet. All the other places I called were $500+ and estimating a week repair time, Zak finished the job in a day and it was the best price.

I called in needing a new phone and Zak was on it. He provided me with multiple options and worked with my budget perfectly. He had what I needed within 48 hours. The vibe inside the store is clean, calm, and chill. Zak is welcoming to everyone and I won’t be going anywhere else for repairs or upgrades going forward!

I dropped my phone in the morning, searched online to buy a new phone, thought why not repair it, remembered this storefront from walking around downtown, emailed Zak around 4:30 pm, he responded immediately, we drove to town, he had it fixed before close at 6 pm. Great experience today at Lake Effect Phone Repair. Went in looking for an external battery charger for my phone, and Zak had exactly what I needed. Didn’t try to upsell me and worked with me on what would work for my phone. Will be returning!

I was having issues with my charging port. I tried several different places that said it would be about a week for the part to deliver. Lake Effect had the part and had my phone back within a couple of hours. The owner Zakry made me feel like he was trying to help me, not just take my money like other phone repair shops. I will be returning with any/all phone issues in the future!

Came here for a MacBook Air screen replacement. Zak's communication was great (speedy and helpful), and the place was easy to find. Compared to other shops, the price was very affordable! Got my screen fixed within a couple hours, and I picked it up the same day I dropped the device off. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve purchased 4 devices from lake effect and every time I’m surprised at how fast they get it shipped out. Every other retailer is days or weeks out from shopping me a new phone, I ordered one here at 4:40pm and had it the next day. Incredible service

I had a iPhone 11 that was shattered and needed repairs. I was referred to this locally owned repair shop that’s nestled in the heart of Grand Rapids. I filled out the online form to find out how much my repairs would cost. The website was easy to navigate and made the process much more efficient. I had received very quick response to my questions and was happy with the quote that saved me some $$ compared to other places I called. The repairs were quick and my phone looked brand new and works great! Next repair will be a shattered iPad that my daughter will bring in. We found our tech fixit guy!

Lake effect is awesome and true to their word. I moved across the country and my phone screen started having issues, they let me mail my phone back to fix it and mailed it back to me for free per their lifetime warranty agreement. This is the spot to go

Called SO many places, the usual "you broke it I fix it" stores. No one had parts and it'll take a week at least, they said "shortage on Samsung parts everywhere". Called this place and the guy said I'll have the part in tomorrow, it'll take me an hour or so to fix. What?! He was super nice, the shop is actually inviting, unlike the other stores that have a table and nothing else. So glad we went with this place. Won't be going anywhere else.

We looked hard for a repair place that could take care of all our device needs and we found Lake Effect, honestly the best in town believe me we have tried and there is no other company in town that is better equipped to take on a company like ours. Zakry is absolutely the kindest and most trustful person and knows his stuff. The integrity is what stands out the loudest with Lake Effect. He is now our phone guy, and he will be my personal moving forward, thanks Zak for a job well done.

Obrien is sooo friendly and knows exactly what he is doing. The store is very neat, and the ambiance is calm and soothing, almost like you're in a spa🥰🥰.
He doesn't waste time unnecessarily and fixes everything there and then. It literally took him less than 30 minutes, and i was on my way. And top of that, he is a stable, happily married man-cherry on top ❤❤.

There's a reason it has 5 stars :) the service was great!! Dude's a whizz, fixed two issues in about 15 minutes. He's very talented and down-to-earth, and the repairs were very reasonably priced.

Lake Effect by far is the best company in Grand Rapids and a very nice store that is comfortable to experience, with places to sit down while your devices are repaired sometimes on the spot.
