Walker Farms And Greenhouses

Walker Farms and Greenhouses is one of the best local fresh produce and nurseries to go to in the Burton area. This farm has been in operation since 1953. The produce is always ripe and tasty. Some items seem more expensive like the mums, but the vegetables seem reasonably priced. Prices have gone up in this current market, but most everything has gone up! I usually purchase sweet corn (4 for $3.99) potatoes, and apples in late summer. I also buy pumpkins and mums in the autumn. Make sure to check the walls for recipes or sign up for their newsletters. The owners are always friendly! I cannot stress this enough. Farms and farmers continue to disappear for various reasons be it climate change, droughts, increasing operational costs, increased prices of fuel, trade wars, dropping commodity prices, decreasing freshwater reserves, etc. If we want to continue to get locally sourced produce, it is imperative that we support our farmers locally. I try to do my part and I hope I can count on you to do the same. If you want to buy fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers grown locally, this is the place to visit!

I've been getting all my annual flowers not only for my home but also for the company I work for for many years now.. The quality of the flowers and customer service from all the staff is outstanding. Kelly and his mom Betty are absolutely some of the best people and go above and beyond to make sure your are happy with all their products. I will continue to do all my flower business with Walker Farms.

Lots of stock of annual plants! Veggies and some stock of perennials, I came late, I'm sure it was alot more in stock when they first opened. One of the owners gave my daughter a flower, super friendly staff.

Walker Farms is an amazing place to get all the plants you need. Clean, organized, helpful workers and such an array of plants. Got everything I needed and a couple for good measure. Check them out, you won't be disappointed

What a very nicely organized greenhouse with healthy looking plants, nice staff, and a good variety of yard ornaments and supplies. Lots of made in USA items, too!
I overheard a person say, "I could get this at walmart for xx dollars" and they are possibly right but I'm far more interested in spending my hard earned dollars supporting a Michigan business. 5 stars from me.

I stopped in Walker Farms last Friday. They have a great selection of gorgeous mums in stock. I purchased seed packets for my fall garden. Packets of purple headed turnips, curly mustard greens, tender greens and other fall growing varieties were available. Their pumpkins look fantastic.

They are open all year. The plant selection is always healthy & plentiful. It's a family friendly venue. There will be an indoor corn mase and activities for kids this fall season.

Walker Farms is a really nice place to shop for all your greenhouse needs. I picked up a flat of varieties very reasonable. I will be doing all my shopping there for plants and veggies. Nice selections too!

Walker Farms is a family business that has brought a varied selection of good quality perennial and annual outdoor plants to customers every Spring for many years... The Walker family and their staff are very helpful and friendly. Today I went to Walker Farms to check out their gazing balls and trellises, etc.

I love mom and pop green houses and I always make sure to stop here every year! They have great vegetables and flowers! Not to mention gardening .

It was a very nice greenhouse. Lots of variety and they also had a few decorations! They even put air in our tire when we had a flat!
