Just discovered Hoovers in the last year even though they are right down the road from me for the last 20 years. Since I dropped the first car off for service I have been back several times with kids cars and our own. All I can say is fair pricing, straight shooting and timely. We have never felt anything but trust in the diagnosis , understanding when there was any kind of hiccup. Communication was top notch and explanations to issues were thorough. Would and have recommended this shop to anyone and everyone. Cannot say enough good things!!! One of my sons had crazy quote from other shop his stepdad sent him to Hoovers and they came in under a third the price. Obviously Hoovers wanted to help and fix the car not price someone so far out there to just go away.

Had my vehicle towed to Mr. Hoover because it would not start. Made a clicking sound. The battery was new. Alternator fine. I thought I was going to have to take it to the dealership. Mr Hoover emailed me a response to bring my vehicle to him. I had never met Mr. Hoover before and was new to the area. Mr. Hoover diagnosed it and fixed it (cleaned and replaced Battery terminal connectors) and even came in over the holiday, (Thanksgiving) so I could pick up my vehicle. As I said, I had never met Mr. Hoover before but I have found me a reliable Mechanic shop.

They performed an electrical diagnostic test, correctly concluded that my vehicle had no problems, and put my concerns to rest. Seemed like really nice guys, too.

After calling 10-12 different shops that refused to help or wanted money upfront before even finding the problem because my car was flooded out Mr Hoover got me covered! While also being the nicest people I’ve dealt with in the auto industry. Not only will I only be using this shop from here on I also highly recommend it!

Closest mechanic to where I live, read reviews before coming in and was immediately glad to see a business owner that not only responds to reviews but defends their business. I've been here several times since then and have always had a great experience. Hourly labor is somewhat high, but in my opinion that just shows how much they value their time and employees. No complaints, great work, great service. I'll be back!

I didn't think this kind of customer service existed anymore. My car was leaking coolant and I needed it fixed quickly. I just moved into town and found Hoover and Sons online. Drove over met Nick, he had my car diagnosed in just a few minutes, cracked radiator. Gave me a very fair price. Chuck the owner gave me a ride because I had ro get to a meeting. They called me back four hours later, all fixed. Nick picked me up in my car so I I could test drive it. Went back , paid my bill, visited with Rose their Yorkie and left a very happy customer. They will get all my work from now on.

Hoover & Sons was so helpful getting my car back in shape to hit the road again. I was unable to reach highway speeds anymore and getting up to 50mph was a chore. I tried to diagnose it myself (thinking it was the camshaft position sensor, map sensor, or worse the transmission) but everything seemed alright with them and there were no codes either. After taking it to Hoover & Sons, they were able to quickly diagnose it as a clogged catalytic converter. They were able to get it replaced in less than a week. I took it out for a test drive on the highway and it was phenomenal! I was able to merge off the onramp onto the highway at 70 whereas before I was getting on at about 45 or 50mph. I am very please with the work they accomplished on my vehicle, not to mention it was affordable too!

Great place to get your car serviced. Honesty, quality and professional are some of the great qualities of this company.

Had a problem with my wheel hub on a Thursday afternoon. Brought it in and asked if it was possible to have it back by Saturday. They went out of their way to make sure it got done and I got it back the very next day! Had a great experience with the staff. And they are fairly priced. Definitely earned my business.

Friday before Labor Day my girlfriends car started over heating and having major issues with the electrical systems. I called around and Hoover and Son's were the only ones that could look at it. So after driving there and barely making it, the mechanic (whose name I am always forgetting), immediately knew it was the serpentine belt. He got to work on it and then diagnosed a coolant leak as well. He tried to get it done by the end of the day and was even willing to come in that Saturday to finish. We told him no and to enjoy his weekend. We had the car back that Tuesday. Total cost was about $1200 which seems reasonable. I was taken aback by the amazing, quick, friendly and quality service provided. You guys are amazing.

Hoover & Sons took really good care of me regarding my Jeep Wrangler. I had always taken my Jeep to the dealership where I purchased it. But after receiving a 2nd quote on services that I DID NOT need, and the 2nd quote doubled in pricing within 2-3 months, I knew that I needed to go elsewhere. Hoover had fixed my daughter's older vehicle a few years back and did a great job. So I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. I will be utilizing Hoover & Sons from now on.

The owner is a very knowledgeable man. Many people I tried explaining my car issue to just jumped to the easy conclusion that it was "just a fuse" or a wiring issue. But, when I called this shop the owner was up front and honest. It seemed like he knew almost right away what the issue truly was with my car. I came and they fixed it right up for me in a very timely manner. I will recommend Hoover & Sons auto repair to anyone looking to get their car fixed. The owner is also a very nice Godly man, he made me feel so much better in a not so good time in my life. Thank you so much ❤

Absolutely love this place and have been taking my cars there for over 20 years. Chuck is amazing, friendly and fair. Nick is a top notch mechanic as well. I don't take my vehicles anywhere else.

I highly recommend Hoover and son’s. Recently we brought our van to them after going to a few other shops because our the engine in our van was very loud. They took a look and quickly found the problem and fixed it and now my van is back to normal. The price was fair and cheaper than what we were quoted before. We truly appreciate them and whenever we need auto work done again we will make sure to use them again.

I have never thought about leaving a review until my experience I had with Hoover and sons Auto. Not only was he honest and try to educate me, so if I decided to go anywhere else I could ask the proper questions. His price was far better than anyone else I talked to. I will be recommending this shop to everyone I know or come across. I can honestly say I have never received better service.

I really cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Hoover and Sons Auto Repair. My husband and I have used the repair service twice now, once for my daughter’s vehicle and recently for my own vehicle. Each time we received excellent service. They will have our business for as long as they are in business.

I trust this place with my automobiles! They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had taken my car five times in one month to get it fixed at another place. After $650 it still wasn’t right! The light was still on on my dashboard. I want to Huber’s and he said I think I know exactly what it is and it was an easy simple fix. Hoover repair shop knows what they’re doing!

Yesterday was not the first time I took my '09 Ford Escape in to have repairs done at Hoover & Son's. The reasons I keep going back are not only their fair prices, but also their honesty, integrity, and friendliness to everyone. It feels great to know that when I drive away, I know the repairs are done right and also don't have to worry about the quality of the parts or the work. They also are timely with the repairs.

I got in a minor accident and they fixed my car up in no time (two days to be exact)! My repairs weren't costly which is a plus! When I go somewhere to get anything fixed I appreciate being talked to like a person, not an idiot or fool for a lack of knowledge, which is what Chuck did. I know nothing about cars and I always hear about places that take advantage of that, but here he was straight foward and honest and treated me and my car with respect. My experience with Hoover has been a great one and I'll be sure recommend this shop to everyone. Thank you for one of the greatest customer service experiences, I appreciate all that you do!
