Hixson's Family Market

I’ve been coming here for years when I visit Canadian Lakes. So glad they started stocking fresh mozzarella (caprese salads are essential). Reasonable prices and friendly, fast service. Not a big fan of the hot pizza but I do appreciate the selection of vegetarian items such as frozen Amy’s dishes, hoping the store expands on this in the future.

Very clean & organized grocery store for vacation & home owners association. Open year round. Large store with all you needs. Post office, liquor, beer & wine, great meat selection, excellent take out deli with many choices, fresh baked goods, some sweatshirts & tops make great souvenirs, special occasion cakes & desserts and books & cards, etc. Friendly staff with great small town service.

Very nice, well stocked store. Full service, with hot foods. The chicken was great. Got back to the inn, put the groceries away and had a nice hot lunch immediately. Very friendly helpful staff.

Hixson's is great. It is my go-to store for groceries whenever visiting the area.

They have pretty much everything you need! I’m always surprised by how much they squeeze into this grocery store. I’ve never waited very long to check out, and the employees all seem helpful and nice. I appreciate the little extras, like kombucha and houseplants! I’m not a local but I visit often and always have a good experience at this place ✔

Always a great place to grab some groceries. Staff is eager to help and they have a really nice selection!

It is so nice to walk into a place where the people working there know who you are and I know their names. And if you have a question they're there to answer it if you want them to get something on their shelves or in their freezers or coolers they do it if they can. It's a great place to go to and it's so comfortable.

We are so grateful to have this store available in our community....prices are affordable for a small community market. Great deli and pizza to order, both are reasonably priced.

Very nice grocery store. Friendly staff. The store made sausage looks fantastic, can't wait to try it. Also good meat department overall. Coffee is available but I think lattes/cappuccino would be a great addition here.

Well, the people here are very nice. I now have a job here so hopefully you'll find the people here very nice. I won't lie, the prices are a little high for groceries, but that's the same with every place you go to nowadays.

They have almost everything. I pass other fast places and always go here when I'm up north. They even have a deli!

Great family grocery store. Open til 8pm daily GREAT prices for being a smaller market! And the fresh meats....are FRESH! Deli is also worth trying...Hot and Cold foods available. Daily Hit lunch specials since not much for cheaper quick food in the area.
