Goose Rocks Dairy (Ice cream)

Very good ice cream with huge sizes. Expensive as expected and can have long lines too. Best time to go is afternoon or a weekday night. Packed on weekends with hour wait times.

My new favorite ice cream place! Although it’s 30 minutes out of the way for me, I’m so excited to come back here. I like that it’s a quiet, tucked away place and the landscape is beautiful. But the best part is their flavor selection! All these flavors I can’t get anywhere else (and I’ve gone to most in the Portland area) makes me so excited to come back and try more.

Awesome home made ice cream in a large variety of flavors. The chocolate chip was a great base with big chocolate chunks. Be aware, this is a small cone! Size is huge!

Drove all the way from Colorado to try this ice cream. Did not disappoint. Yum.

I passed by this place for years and finally decided to stop by and wow!! The variety of flavors was great and everyone liked the flavors they got. In addition the sizing was huge and personally I'd suggest sizing down one. The sizing for a child is what a normal small would be in NY. A line was present even in the rain, but the friendly staff move quickly so don't be scared off. The image attached is a large cone in a cup for reference. We all were shocked by the sizing and had a good laugh as we saw them packing the flavors into the cups. The pricing is very fair. Highly suggest you stop by no matter what the weather may be.

We inquired about the breakfast sign and we're told for this year maybe in August they would start again. A lot of local businesses have had a hard time staffing for the summer.

One of our favorite places to go to when we stay at Goose Rocks Beach in the summer. The portions are huge. Most people have enough with the kiddie size. They only have the sizes, kiddie, small, and large. Good luck eating a large cone on a hot day. I tried it the first time we went there and it wasn't pretty. They have at least thirty flavors of ice cream, with non-fat yogurt and no sugar added selections. Try it, I think you'll like it. Most people do.

Most excellent home made ice cream with so many flavors to choose A friendly staff and several benches to sit Is located close to Biddeford and Cape Porpoise and of course Kennebunkport. Hidden away off the main Rd of Route 9. Must spot the little ice cream sign Worth the hunt and the visit. Yum !

Great place to get ice cream. Everyone else thinks so too, so be prepared to wait and line and bring bug spray!

Wow! They put their whole gooseussy in to this icecream! Best I've had since I was a little creature. I had the moose tracks flavor, and I could really taste the moose meat chunks! My grandpappy and I used to hunt moose until they told him to get a permit. He used to hunt mammoths back as a youth, so being told off for hunting a little moose made him furious! The very next day grandpappy dragged three moose carcasses to the game warden's house and lit them on fire! The stench lingered for weeks! He was never bothered again for hunting. I loved my grandpappy. He showed me how to stand up for myself and not let anyone get in my way of having a good time. Speaking of good times, this icecream was one. When I fell on hard times during the great depression I made a deal with a witch to get food and money, but in turn I was cursed to be unable to eat icecream... However, in the 60s I discovered the witch didn't notice when I bit the bottom of the cone and sucked the sweet cream out. That pesky curse can't stop me from having a yummy treat! Anyways If you are in the Maine area you gotta go here! 😋

We did the tour of area ice cream shops this summer. (Why not?) We went back to Goose Rocks today, because they have the secret sauce to amazing ice cream. Relaxing spot. Nice seating areas. Exactly what we want in an ice cream shop! Friendly servering crew too! And! They have a dog ice cream on the menu! (Bring cash! Cash only.) Thank you Goose Rocks!!

As I slid the smooth, white plastic spoon carrying ice cream past my bright red lips, through my some what yellow teeth, and as it landed onto my taste buds like a 747 Boeing on a run way, I almost fainted. Thankfully a nearby polar bear caught sight of this and came to the rescue. After repeated chest compressions and almost broken ribs I woke up and realized I had just eaten a bite of the Monster Mash ice cream at Goose Rocks Dairy 🤠

Great ice cream, large variety. Would 100% recommend. Please note the serving sizes are HUGE!

Great ice cream! Loved the Campfire Smores! Rest of the crew gave it thumbs up, too! The portions are large, waffle cones were fresh and crunchy. We went at night, bring a sweatshirt or the repellent. Mosquitoes were ferocious!

We got there right before closing and none of the staff seemed bothered nor did they rush us. They were all very friendly and the ice cream was delicious! We will definitely go back!

This place is amazing! Great selection, healthy portions of delicious tasting ice cream! If going at dusk or dark, cover your arms and legs as the mosquitoes might get you during your wait!

Yay! Found this spot on Google Maps, it’s easy to miss otherwise. S’mores ice cream and Extreme Chocolate - two winner flavors. Definitely stop here, you won’t be disappointed.

Lots of flavors and very large portions. This place is a diamond in the rough and a must see if you are staying in the Goose Rock Beach area. Portion sizes are very generous.
