We attended the 33rd annual maple syrup festival near Salem, IN on Sunday. The place is a little ways out but worth the trip for the festival. There are several vendors on site from arts and crafts to food. There are guided tours as well as self guided tours available to learn about the syrup making process. A good family outing! We would make the trip again.

Great food. Excellent hospitality. Lots of fun. Lots for kids to do. They do have diaper changing stations. Lots of portable toliets. Music is good. Main food lines move fast. Longer lines from 11-2 pm. If go on last day, they may run out of some food. Some vendors start tear down mid afternoon on last day.

Fun times and breakfast was great. Then on to booths to see crafts. Cutting wood drew a lot of people. But my favorite is fhe gun fights.

A great family friendly event with more than just maple syrup (there are free samples). There is music throughout the day, cowboys, booths, and activities for kids. Booths include homemade soap, local honey, wood carving, and pottery. Kids activities include sawing a log, coloring pages, an old fashioned merry go round, and splashing in the creek. Most come for a pancake/waffle & sausage meal, but stay for the day.

Very fun place, family and pet friendly. I go every year and it has new different things everytime. It's a great time everyone should experience at least once.

This is such a great little festival every year. There's great food, you can make your own candle, do various activities.

It is a really fun experience and the prices were very reasonable. I definitely recommend trying the bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, it was amazing!!!

Very slice of Americana! Live music, old time country/bluegrass. Blacksmith, hatchet throwing, bucksaw, cowboy shoot out reenactment...

I've been going to the Maple Syrup festival for many years and enjoying the music, the vendors and the great food. Be sure to grab a jug of maple syrup!
