Jen and Jen are always a delight when I come in. They are very knowledgeable and help me with rates and shipping. Other offices in the area have not so nice staff. I bypass and come here for all my needs

Alex our post office delivery driver has been amazing over the last two years we lived here , noticing the little things like I haven't gotten mail (foot broken) so he started delivering to the door. More importantly he noticed our neighbors daily routine of getting her mail and saying Hi , and he also noticed she was off and ask if he could walk her to her car and she briefly fainted so he with the help of an unknown fed ex whom noticed something going on an aided to help they put her in the front seat of the post car and called an ambulance. They are true heroes and amazing.

Great post office employees with super customer service. Except the post master. He locks you out 2 - 3 minutes before closing time. What a pain. He also has a horrible attitude the majority of the time.

11/10 always recommend going to the 3rd street location instead of Randall. Employees are always helpful, quick, and kind in the mailing process.

Staff member chatted away on her cell phone with a friend through the whole interaction. I think the post office is defunct- they don’t care if people work or do things correctly. I will never use them again. I see another review with same issue. Clearly there is absolutely no oversight.

Had to deal with a guy here who evidently does not appreciate working with people Very poor customer service. Lady at the next window sounded just as uninterested with her customer.
The south elgin office has a much better vibe.
UPDATING and changing my stars from one to five. What a difference one less person can make!!!
Also, Jen is an angel to deal with. She is always willing to go the extra mile and welcomes you with a smile.
Update.
Just wondering... what is USPS's policy about having a private phone conversation (every single time) while attending to customers needs. It's hard to keep up if she is talking to you or the person on her ear. So rude!!!

The person at the counter was extremly rude. 1st. she was on her phone and didn't acknowledge me. Then when I said hello, she didn't look up and said can I help the next person like it was an inconvience. She wouldn't listen to my items I was inquiring about and when she was looking for a "sheet" that would show the new rates, I said this is a print out from your USPS site. She then said "I heard you, you said it like 3 times". This is the second time I have come into the Geneva post office and had to deal with this person. The first time she was on her cell phone as well.

0 stars!!!!! Rudest man ever works there. Came in at 11:56 to buy a sheet of stamps and he said he was closed. Literally shut the window in my face. This man always has a bad attitude and is inconvenienced by his JOB to help people. Very sad to see my hometown of Geneva has disrespectful and unprofessional community helpers. I truly can’t even explain the lack of customer service I received today.

The staff here is incredibly rude. Each time I come in its something. Either employees are on their phone, I'm getting attitude for wanting a receipt for my scanned envelopes, or while buying stamps. SO RUDE!! This facility deserves the one star rating that it has. Its very unfortunate that this is the closest post office to me.

Typical disregard for the customer from the postal employees. They are rude. In a few words. They don't care.

I usually don't have any issues at this post office but I stopped in yesterday (5/11/21) around 3:00 and the woman behind the counter gave the worst customer service I have ever had. She mumbled "can I help you" without looking up at me so I wasn't even sure she had acknowledged me, sat on her cellphone the entire time she helped me, and started swearing at her cell phone while I was standing in front of her. She was incredibly rude, unprofessional and should not have been working if she was more preoccupied with what was on her cellphone.

November 21, went in and the guy came out and said he was closing early (11:00am). SOOOOOOOOOOOOO VERY rude. I would give zero stars. Do NOT go here...make the trip up to the small St. Charles facility on North Avenue across from the library. MUCH nicer and customer service oriented.
