Bud's Hardware

Great local hardware store. They may not have everything the big box stores have but, multiple times I gave found items here the big bix stores don't have.

Bud's is never disappointing. If I'm doing home/ barn maintenance they're so helpful. I had a garden hose I damaged the male end there were 3 replacement options they recommended the cheapest 1 it's like new hose. Needed plexiglass asked Google Ace Hardware came up terrible experience, wasted hour had to drive 1st Ave. never got it got the run around. Ended up getting a piece from Bud's. They're always there when I need them.

I called three minutes before they closed and asked if they would stay open for 5 more minutes so I could buy some plywood. I got there 3 minutes past closed and they were there waiting on me so I could get what I needed. Amazing service and they did it all with a smile. Buds is truly one of the few small businesses that we have left that make you feel like you matter. Thank you.

Im new to Mt.Vernon, I walked into the store an a young gentlemen, Mason, met me at the top of the stairs asking me if he could help me. He was very helpful. Very polite. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Even helped me pick out things I needed that didn't know I needed. Thank you Mason. Can't wait to go back.
