Southland Motel

Stayed here one weekend because all rooms at the casino were full because of the concert. Was scared it was gonna be bad but it was actually clean an nice an comfy. I will definitely be bk an it's not to far from the casino. Really glad I found it.

Very spacious, affordable & for someone who is in town for a long term job working lots of hours... I'm gonna sleep and shower. My belongings are safe and no worries ... that's in and of itself worth the $50. And, I'm supporting a small business not a corporate chain with dark busy carpet... furniture... accessories that doesn't show dirt due to color and low lighting for $100 plus a night.

Nice-Cheap and Very Clean. Easy space to stay for a quick 5 hr nap. Recently remodeled and is very comfortable.

UPDATE!!!!

I left some very nice and pricey headphones at this motel that were a gift from our children. I called 2 weeks later to see if anyone happened to see them truly expected them to be long gone.

To my surprise..the owner immediately knew what I was talking about and in seconds was able to retrieve them and assured me that he would mail them back to me at no cost.

When I received my beautiful red headphones..they were neatly bubbled wrapped, in incased in a sturdy box that was also stuffed with paper to assure protection and safe delivery.

This is a hidden secret if you're just needing a clean quiet place to sleep. The rooms are large with tile floors so no hidden carpet smell. The staff was courteous. The hotel is old and not one I would have normally picked but I am surely glad I did! Thanks guys you get a huge gold star!

For the price it is a clean room to stay in for a few days. The owner/older Male that also cleans the rooms was rude with me because I was not yet out of the room by 1030. Checkout is not until 11 am.
But other than that, I would recommend this place before I would the Greenlawn Motel

The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The new upgrades were nice. A big difference from back in the day. The only problem was in the single bedrooms the bed need to be bigger... But overall it was nice and affordable...

I'm not sure why it's rated so low the owner was really cool and had great service and the rooms were pretty good for the price overall super satisfied with the price and quality

It was so perfect at time when the last thing we needed was to worry about where we would lay out heads....it was so very Reasonable and very very clean....the very necessities available and the staff was very very kind.....will stay here anytime we are in Atmore for sure.....also conveniently located to the beautiful city of Atmore

Don't let the pics fool you. Nice, quiet, and clean renovated rooms. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Will definitely be staying here again!

Its had some great remodeling the room smelled nice an the shower had new stone walls that looked great the bed was comfy I was very impressed with the updates an always have a great price

I go there about 3 times a week and they are clean rooms and D Pop is the best.. I give him 10 ⭐s
