Red Bud Regional Hospital

My 88 year old mother was recently a patient at the hospital. She has dementia and was treated for pneumonia and difficulty walking. We were very happy with the care she received from the staff, and we’re extremely pleased that upon her release she seemed healthier than we had seen her in a long time. We would recommend this hospital for care.

My brother collapsed and was taken by ambulance to Redbud Regional Hospital on a Saturday evening where he remained until the following Friday. I was amazed and impressed with the high quality of care he received during his entire stay. The ER staff were thorough in the initial exam, kept us informed on his status and their findings and very professional. They knew what they were doing and were able to quickly make the correct diagnosis and get the proper treatments started. Everyone on the MedSurg staff were also phenomenal—again highly trained and knowledgeable on what my brother needed to recover quickly. They were kind, helpful—just amazing. The same can be said for the PT department-they worked with my brother to help him regain the ability to walk and do his normal daily routine and were friendly and kind in the process. The housekeeping staff were also wonderful, kind, caring and excellent at their job. . My mom worked in a hospital for over 20 years and said the Redbud hospital was the cleanest she had ever seen-ever-and so nice and quiet.
My family was so blessed during this difficult time by the most amazing , wonderful, caring and professional people we have ever been around. Not just one or two but everyone! The people at Redbud Hospital care about their patients. Thank you all! This hospital is an incredible assets to the people they serve.

I had my 3D mammogram with Karen today. She is just the best. She always makes me feel at ease with her jokes and smile. She is very efficient. As all of us girls know, we just want to be out of there as quickly as possible and she keeps things moving. As much as I dread having my yearly mammogram, Karen makes it as comfortable as such a thing can be.

I’ve been to the ER twice: once for myself and once with my child. No wait time, doctors and nurses were extremely polite and my daughter was given a stuffed toy to help her settle down. The staff who took our insurance information weren’t as nice; they seemed a little inconvenienced. Still, I’m very happy with the staff and service!

As an employee of Red Bud Regional, I have the pleasure of working with the medical staff on a professional basis. But when my family became the patient, it felt different. After my children were seen by Amber Harriman at Red Bud Health Clinic, I asked the kids what they thought. One said, "They were all so welcoming!" And the other said, "She was fun!" I highly recommend this practice!

I would like to commend the doctors, nurses, and staff of Progressive Family Care (Waterloo) for their outstanding service. Everyone is courteous, professional, and provides excellent medical care. Recently, I had a serious injury (accidentally stabbed in the hand), and Erin Friedman, DO, saw me immediately with no appointment. He treated the wound (even though he very well could have just sent me to the ER) and arranged further care with a specialist. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Friedman going above and beyond to ensure a patient gets prompt quality care in an unusual situation.
Also, a very special thanks to Erin Henry, FNP, for going out of her way to make it extremely convenient for me to get prescriptions renewed, and to Michelle Cunningham, MD, for her wonderful work with my children’s health care.

On 8-22-19, I had a mammogram done by Karen Leonard. She was friendly, explained all details of what was happening while using the 3D machine and answered all my questions. .I highly recommend her. She is very professional. Red Bud is lucky to have her.

My 15 year old daughter, who has never had blood drawn, was extremely nervous about having her blood drawn. Tonia in lab immediately picked up on her nervousness and started talking to her about make-up and YouTube make-up celebrities. Tonia knew exactly how to make my daughter relax and feel comfortable. Great Job, Tonia, figuring out how to start a conversation with my daughter and relieving her anxiety!

Everyone was so nice and professional. There was no wait and their friendliness eased my nervousness immediately. Saw Dr Crowe right away, he was great, explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. I would come here again if the need arises.

I had a great experience with my 1st Mammogram.Karen Leonard made me feel comfortable and explained the whole process.I highly recommend going to Red Bud hospital for a mammogram.They only do 3d which is great !

I saw Tom in the Express Care. No appointment needed. I was having shortness of breath upon walking. Tom was excellent at finding my problem and prescribing meds. Highly recommend this office.

The best hospital around. Better than Memorial. Better than St. E. Better than St. Louis hospitals! They get to the point, get the job done effeciently, effectively, and with so much love and kindness. No ER wait. Beautiful loving staff.

Karen was great when performing my mammogram! She explained everything she was doing and then showed me the images. Great job Karen!

Knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff. Ashley Eggemeyer was very good at her job and I was able to make some progress with my health issue.

I have been in Red Bud Hospital Many times. Like any other hospital you have good nurses and some not so good.But the care I received was excellent./

They was no wait time. Staff was super fast to see me. Dr was great, he was very thorough..
