This was my first time going here. Thursday, January 25, 2024. My Dad loved the catfish, fried okra, fries, and rolls. So that's what I got. My sweet Daddy would have been 90 years young today. Sadly, he passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. My oldest daughter Amanda would always go get Dad a catfish plate. So, in
Remembrance of my sweet, loving, caring Daddy, we got the catfish plate today. The food here is very good. I was there with my 2 daughters, my niece, and my youngest daughter's bf.

Wonderful local joint. Prepare to wait on a 1st Monday Sat, but it's worth it. Service was outstanding, our coffee cups were kept hot and full. Great flavor to our food, fluffy homemade biscuits were worth the stop by themselves! Pancakes were light and delicious. I would highly recommend.

The young gorgeous waitress offered us the spicy sausage breakfast. The eggs were cooked to perfection, sunny side up. The home fries and gravy were awesome and the spicy sausage was just fantastic! Thank you! I really appreciate all the hard work.

Food was fantastic overall Decor was fantastic as well absolutely love the Star Trek plates on the outside walls and the breakfast was fantastic we just didn't take enough pictures hopefully there was enough use of the word fantastic.

So so so good! Went there when we were passing through and had to try the chicken fried steak. It was amazing. The staff was super friendly and the place was just what you expect (and want) in a small town cafe!

Great experience. Even with it being trades day weekend and a Saturday morning (both very packed times for them) they managed to stay on top of our order and keep us tended to. Great food. Locals were saying it's definitely the go to place for breakfast in town. Pancakes were some of the best I've ever had

Great food and nice folks. Get the chicken fried steak with biscuits for breakfast. You won't regret it.

My wife and I had a delicious breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The place was busy but not noisy.
BTW, at most restaurants, I want hash browns with my breakfast, but the home fries here are incredibly good

Food is great. It takes a little bit to get your food (about 25-30 minutes) but the service and people are excellent and very welcoming and accommodating. We were in a little bit of a hurry but they packaged our food to go. The breakfast prices are good too..$18 for 2 breakfast plates. No drinks. We will be back and I recommend.

Got the DownHome Breakfast that includes chicken fried steak. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Clearly made by hand with love. Absolutely worth the trip.

Great diner. The catfish was much better than I had expected with a crispy outside and moist on the inside. I will definitely go back, but I expect they are very crowded on first Monday weekends.

A must stop for people looking for an authentic hometown atmosphere.

Breakfast was off the charts good. Pancakes were just like mommas. Eggs were perfectly fried. Oatmeal wasn’t instant. Coffee was good. This is worth every penny. Decently priced.

Loved the comfort food. People were very friendly and food was awesome.

My mother and I are breakfast here the other day and it was delicious. The serving sizes were generous, the food was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly. They also have great prices on their selections. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to feed your family. Definitely will be coming back!

10/10!! Great food, super nice staff, quick service, and friendly environment. My only complaint is that they aren’t open on Sunday’s and we couldn’t eat there again🤣

Great service, delicious food just like my southern mom and aunts made. Nothing better than that.
