I absolutely love to eat here every chance I get! I find the rustic hometown feel very appealing. The food and service are always amazing and affordable, too.

If you want or need some down home cooking in Cuero this is the best place to go to. Except they're only open from 7 to 2 I believe and closed on Saturday and Sunday.

The food was really good but the service was great I definitely recommend , been back a couple times since & have not been disappointed Excellent waitress

We had the lunch specials and one, they were delicious and 2, they where just the right size, and 3, they were budget friendly. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The atmosphere was rustic and barnyard-sheek (is that a word?) And it was perfect. Tons of retired locals, ranchers, and farmers were all chowing down together, laughing and joking with each other.

We had the meatloaf and chicken fried steak, today's special. Not disappointed at all. The food was fresh and hot. The staff, super friendly. The strangers walking in the door even said hello. Actually, this being our first time makes us the strangers. Not for long. We'll be back.

Nice and cozy little place. I've always had a great experience when dining in. I usually stop in for breakfast. I've been a couple of times for lunch. Service has been great since the first time I walked in. The server has always remembered my drink order since day one.

It's always a great place to eat! We seem to get the same waitress when we go, and she's always very nice. The food tatse home-cooked.

Breakfast Special with Short Stack. This is an excellent choice for breakfast when you are near Cuero. Fast and friendly service, food cooked to order, and delicious.

Quaint small restaurant. Lovely people and wonderful food. The taste of a home cooked meal. Omelette's, biscuits and gravy, and coffee. Loved everything. My son is a picky eater he had no complaints.

What a great little cafe. Old town style with modern comforts! Air conditioning was amazing! Food was very good. We had
the Monday special and it was FRESH, HOT, AND WELL PRESENTED. We made an unplanned stop, but will definitely plan on visiting again.

I loved the food, but it was an eerie experience at first. My group all walked in and everyone stopped eating and stared at us. Now it could be that we are just that cool, but we're not. Either way, the food was good and the waitress was super nice. I suggest fixing up the front so it looks more inviting. I almost didn't recognize it as a restaurant had it not been for Google.

Just had lunch there today with 4 friends. Fantastic home cookin'! The chicken fried steak is wonderful - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Everyone loved their meal. The staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Looking forward to returning!

Great breakfast and amazing service. I had the Supreme Omlette, it was great. And the breakfast tacos are huge! More like a burrito than a taco. I will definitely be back

Had their 2 egg breakfast, was very good. Mary was a delight as always.
