La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Collinsville - St. Louis

Best hotel we've stayed at in a long time. Check in was quick, easy, and the desk clerk was upbeat and friendly. We had our dog with us and there was no unpleasantness from the clerk about it. Room was spacious, the fridge was super cold, the air worked great and the bathroom even had name brand soaps and shampoos! We visit the area quite often and usually stay at another hotel close by, but this will definitely be our go to place in Collinsville from now on!

I like this hotel and have stayed here a couple of times. It's clean, well kept and close to St. Louis without dealing with the issues that sometimes come with staying in the city.
I haven't had any serious issues here and only a couple of little things that the staff took care of immediately. They have consistently had a friendly, helpful staff here.

Hotel was right across the street (walking distance) from the convention center we had an event at. Location right off highway close to Walmart, gas station and several food options. Check in and out was seamless. Breakfast was good. Beds and pillows super comfortable. Will stay again!

Great hotel, wonderful staff and the rooms were super clean. The lobby was clean also. The halls and elevators could be updated but don’t be fooled by it because the rooms are spotless Great job to their housekeeping department. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be staying again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars Highly Recommended 👏🏾

We stayed here to see a concert in downtown St. Louis.
17 min to the venue. Easy drive. Friendly/efficient front desk. Clean rooms. Comfy bed. Quiet area with access to lots of food options and shopping.

I wanted something inexpensive and not in downtown St. Louis. I have never had this good of an experience with an inexpensive room. Some people expect too much out of the cheaper motels. It's annoying. You can't have cheap prices, then complain about everything and not bring it up at the time of visit. If you want the Hilton treatment, then go there! Or stop complaining.

I'm hard to please since I spent so long in customer service. This was like staying in a $200, not $100. This was cleaner than the wilderness resort in the dells!!! And that was $250! Customer Service was great and so was cleanliness!!!

So the lobby was finishing being cleaned. Smelled fresh everywhere I went. Not once did I smell stale cigarette smoke on the floor or in the room. They have a workout room and a pool. Shallow and deep end for such a small pool. I was impressed. Guy, who checked me in, was very nice and helpful. I was in room 215, and boy, was it big! That's not what I expected. Looked somewhat handicap friendly. My mom sleeps in a recliner, and there is a perfect space across from the bathroom that a recliner would fit! That's how spacious it was! Nice clean WHITE sheets and towels. Tons of pillows! Yey! The bathroom was clean. It took a while to get hot water flowing, but it came it was nice and hot. The carpet looked clean. The couch was clean. I was impressed! There was a dresser with a big flat screen. A desk, a couch, a coffee table, 2 bedside tables, a mini fridge, a coffee pot, and a microwave. The fridge was cold! I turned the air on, and it worked great. Cooled off the room in a timely manner.

Good location! Food is nearby. Walmart is nearby. The highway is nearby. Took less than 20 mins to downtown St Louis.

Breakfast. Holy cow!!! This was like a holiday inn breakfast without the holiday in cost!!! Eggs with salt and pepper, breakfast sausage patties, pancakes, cereal (3 kinds), yogurt (3 kinds), white & wheat bread, chocolate chip muffins, p&j in case you want that, cream cheese but no bagels.... but also 4 kinds of juice or 2% milk. Awesome, right! Why can't all motels be like this when they offer breakfast?! So pleased. If I'm in the area again, this will be my go-to place! Thank you to this place for making my stay wonderful!!!

Very accommodating and helpful staff. When we told them our AC wasn’t working they apologized and quickly moved us to another room. Nice place to stay for a quick stop 👍🏼

I got a great deal on this room price-wise, and I was thrilled at what I got for the value. I think it’s family-owned, and all three of the gentlemen I interacted with couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. It was so nice to be treated well after hours and hours on the road. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were good. Very clean. The property is a little older but that doesn’t take away from the quality of the room itself. If I’m ever near St. Louis again I will definitely be back. Thank you for a great night!

I had the unfortunate experience of being relocated for 30 days due to moisture issues in my apartment and was sent here to stay until I was able to go back home. I have 4 kids one being 2 months at the time. At first I was uncomfortable with the rooms given to us and Stan and the sweet lady who worked front desk overnight made sure me and my children were comfortable and had conjoining rooms. The housekeepers and the lady who worked overnight went above and beyond for my family. Since we were displaced during Halloween there was a note attached to my door and a basket with goodies for my kids and myself. I later found out the overnight front desk worker went out her way to make the best of us being displaced out our home. One of the housekeepers even bought my son a nerf gun to play with. The staff kept a close eye out on my children during breakfast as well. I was so blessed and pleased to have such an understanding staff. At the time I had no idea about the issues at home and I was 8 weeks postpartum and still not fully healed from my C-section. They made life so easy and I was so grateful. I would definitely stay again if I needed to and would recommend them to anyone traveling in this area. They are phenomenal with dealing with multiple families because it was numerous complex’s and families staying there at once. I think this would be a great place for families during family reunions. The rooms are exactly as pictured and you can smell the cleanliness when housekeeping is working. Its been two months since my stay and I’m finally getting a chance to sit down and give my review. Thanks for all you guys do your hard work did not go unnoticed.

Clean hotel and comfortable stay. I was very surprised when I saw how big the room was. Very spacious. Breakfast was okay! I wish they had a little more options. Overall I would recommend anyone here!

From the start of my experience after booking late to getting hungry late and being able to get food here. This was a fantastic experience. The room was super clean, cozy and the hotel was quiet and comfortable.

Gina at the front desk was extremely great to deal with through this entire experience. This place surpassed my expectations significantly and has to be one of the best options in this town.

Our room was quiet and the front desk was helpful abd accommodating.

We had a trip planned and our original plans fell through. With us not being 21 yet we had to find a hotel nearby to stay. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Overall not a bad place to stay. The beds aren't very soft though.

This location literally saved our night. We had reservations for another hotel near by and were turned away because we had our cats with us. I had called to verify with them that they took PETS but apparently was not specific enough. I called La Quinta and luckily they had a room AND take cats. The guys at the front desk were WONDERFUL! We are staying here again on our way back home. Thank you LaQuinta for being CAT and PET friendly!
