This is a very good place to work. I have been with NYX for almost 2 years now.

It’s not a bad place to work. The pay is decent. Management tries. Peers are friendly at least my experience. It’s not perfect and could use some more cleaning overall for safety reasons and can be alot better in general. But I personally haven’t had issues and my managers have been understanding and have worked with me when i have rough days.

They usually want you to grab a empty trailer from receiving and bring to Shipping for Power Only loads before they allow you to pick up your loaded trailer. There isn't a good signal in the area because their location is off the main interstates and on the country roads. Will need a Version number for Racks loads. Staff friendly. Decent maneuvering room.

It took me almost 5 months to get hired here at NYX. I went through my orientation last Friday and was supposed to start my night shift this past Monday night. My daughter, who has epilepsy, ran out of medicine and had a seizure and I had to go all the way to Columbia to get her medication at 8pm with no refills on the bottle. I sat at Walgreens half the night, didn't have the supervisor's phone number to call. By the time I got home it was too late to go in so I called that following morning. I was told that Eric was off work and the shift supervisor would be given my phone number and would be in touch. It is Thursday and still no call. I call and get nothing but Eric's voice mail. I guess I was supposed to let my daughter stay home without any medication. I am not impressed at all with the way that I have been done. I am in a financial crisis and needed this job but oh well people be sure and neglect your kids if you choose to work at this place.

You can never get a hold of anyone. You can call their phone a dozen times no-one will ever answer.There is a 21 year old kid running third shift who has no clue as to what he is doing. This kid fires people in front of everyone to humiliate them. They are bad on the breaks and lunch times. I mean really you start on your press at 11 and 11:15 you get your first break. They are firing people constantly. Nine people in a week. Several people just walk out. They have a women supervisor there who bad mouths you to everyone.They are unable to keep workers because of the kid and the women running third shift. Sorry to say they need to clean up their top employees to keep the good workers.

This company is not at all helpful. They don't pay attention to their phones in case of an emergency, nor do they give their employees much choice, as far as work schedule.
Terrible business!

Not happy with this company. I have been trying to get in touch with someone for over 2 weeks just to do an employment verification and have had no luck. Very poorly ran.

They never answer their phones. They never have someone to help when you need it. They over work their employees and say it's "mandatory", taking away any free time they may have. They are not running a good business at all, and they don't pay enough attention to even notice!!!

It sucks they treat you mean for no reason it's ridiculous
