SPENCER MOUNTAIN PROPANE

Spencer Mountain Propane is our "go to" company when we need our tank filled. Their customer service is amazing! (Thank you Kathy!) Chris is a top notch delivery guy who is always friendly and professional. We are always happy with the service they provide! Make sure to give them a call when you need propane!

Spencer UPG is wonderful to get propane from. The receptionist, Kathy, is wonderful to talk with. She is always so friendly and helpful. I always enjoy talking with her. She deserves a raise as I'm sure dealing with the public is not much fun.

Kathy is truly amazing! She is always very kind and helpful! When I call and order gas or make a payment, she is always available and goes above and beyond for her customers!

NEED PROPANE? Then you definitely want to do business with the GREAT folks( Kathy and Chris) at Spencer Mountain Propane(UPG)! You will be hard pressed to find anyone who works as hard as their driver, Chris! This guy is incredible, he is polite and is conscientious of your yard. On the other hand, you have Kathy in the office, there too is a GREAT person to work with, so so friendly and helpful! So, if you’re new to the area or just looking for a new propane company, Spencer Mountain Propane is who you want to deal with!

I've been a customer for years now & never had a problem, until now. I called on 12/16/22 (morning) to schedule a fill up... as of today (12/21) they've not come & when I called to make sure I was on the list, I was told yes but had not been assigned to a driver yet! Besides being disabled, my autistic grandson is staying with me. I live in a large RV which is not as insulated as a home, thus I use more than most do in propane heat. The level has dropped 10% from when I called & looks like I will probably run out of propane in the coming days. Very disappointed in them & I've referred numerous others to them over the years (other F/T RVers here on the campground). I will add that the woman I spoke to was very short with me, which shocked me as they have never been anything but nice. Shame all the way around.

We just purchased a cabin and the tank was empty. Needed quick filling to help keep water pipes from bursting. I own the tank and just needed it filled.
Spencer Mtn Propane said it would take a couple days to set up an account. I waited a week and never heard from them. Tried calling - noone answers phone. Left voice mail to check status and still no one called me back two days later.

EDIT: after posting this review, I received a call back (not because they were responding to my voice mail but only because I posted the negative review). When I explained that I had called and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone and that no one was returning my voice mail, the lady at Spencer Mtn Propane could only provide the excuse that she was the only one available to answer phones so she was probably too occupied to answer and she also stated she wouldn't have known what to tell me. Thankfully I was able to get prompt service from another company. I hope to consider Spencer Mtn Propane in the future if they work to improve their communication and customer service.

We are a regular customer for our house propane and we have been trying to contact someone to get our motorhome filled up and no one will answer phone or return voice mails. Went in to inquire on a good time and the phone continuously rang and the lady never answered it just ignore it. Was told to come back at a certain time in the morning and we did in the motor home and the guy had already left and no way of knowing when he’s going to be back. It would be nice if they could set aside a small amount of time at least one day a week to fill tanks. Or have someone in the office that can fill them throughout the day. Also the lady at the desk is not very pleasant. We are considering just taking all of our business elsewhere.

This used to be a great place to get your smaller propane tanks filled. Great prices, friendly service. Now they have basically dumped all their customers that would bring in their smaller tanks to be filled. If the driver isn't there you cannot leave your tanks anymore to get filled. You ask when the driver will be there and they have no idea and unwilling to set aside a day or even a few hours for people to come and get them filled. I will be taking my business somewhere else from now on. Too bad. We always like to support the local businesses but when they are unwilling to work with their customers I'm out.
