We paddle a lot in middle TN. We were told that the Buffalo River flows noticably faster that the Duck and the Harpeth. I couldn't say that was true of our float today, 9.21.23, but I can say that the other two rivers were too low to float due to a shortage of rain the last couple of weeks but the Buffalo was very paddle-able today and a beautiful stretch of river. Also the first time we've seen cattle grazing up to the river. Our friend came in from out of town and the Commodore was very accommodating. We will do it again.
