I would just like to say 5-6 years later thanks, for helping us thru this difficult time.
The loss of my daddy is still affecting me today.
This week has been challenging to say the least, but to GOD be the glory!
You exhibited compassion and professionalism throughout the entire process.

Although, other family members weren’t very cooperative (step mom and step brother- Johnnie Ann Wilson-Champion and Curtis P. Wilson).
They did some mean and unbelievable things to him and his children.
Even in his death (Anine) attempted to still show love, tolerance, compassion and gratitude.
Johnnie Ann Wilson of the “Willis Sisters” from Fairfield, Texas still live in his home with a living Estate until her death.

Do not do business with this criminal! He rips everyone off. He will get you to do the work then give you every excuse to in the book not to pay you.

The owner and operator of this facility, Ray Charles Emanuel, is a career criminal who has been known to steal from companies. (The crime is referred to as Theft of Services.) You should not put your loved ones in his care. Google the court case "EMMANUEL FUNERAL HOME AND RAY CHARLES EMANUEL, APPELLANTS v. PHIPPS MEMORIAL COMPANY". He has since blocked my phone number. Criminal and civil proceedings are underway.

Everything went okay except my husbands visitation, it was very unorganized. It got changed at the last minute from the morning to the evening. Due to the directors wife funeral on the same day. No disrespect to noone, but when you have a business or establishment you should also be considerate of others who have losts their loved one and grieving at the same time. It was wrong for them to change my husband's visitation at the lasts minute without everyone knowing and his flowers got losts due to the funeral home being locked and the change in time of his visitation. People were waiting outside of the funeral home since it was locked to view my husbands body, but they were at least 2 hours late after they had changed it to the evening.Which I thought was very disrespectful by that time it was people leaving. When they finally showed up with my husbands body, I asked them to shave my husband's face beforehand they said they did but it was Not done. I will never forget that terrible visitation experience.

The director/owner and wife was really nice ..helped out alot...but at some point I believe the compassion side of business was lost...my grandson funeral was handled thru Emanuel..the one thing that happened has been devastating to see...you see funeral was paid for upfront...and the family of funeral home brought my infant son to funeral in the trunk if their car...trunk...the trunk...the uncle's of this precious infant walked him to graveside to prevent him being put in the trunk again.. This is only messing my head up more as each year goes by...the trunk...

So sad the obituaries are badly written. People are more than a death date. Their memory deserves more respect!
