This is my favorite place of all time. I have leased a horse from Amanda, I have taken lessons from her, my daughter has participated in her camps and now I board my horse here! I have boarded elsewhere and I have taken lessons elsewhere. But this place is the best. I love how encouraging and patient she is and how much she cares for her property and all of the animals and people that are there. It’s just a great atmosphere all around and I’ve met wonderful people out here. There’s no drama and not a single boarder or horse I have an issue with. Just a great place to be. 🩷

I have had the absolute pleasure of boarding my horse and taking lessons with Amanda since mid 2023. I moved from out of state and was having a hard time finding the right fit for boarding and lessons. I wasn’t just looking for a place to keep my horse. I wanted a place where I could continue to take lessons, and get better as a rider. Finding Amanda has been the biggest blessing to our family. Amanda has been extremely welcoming and accommodating through the transition, and has since gone above and beyond to make sure my horse is thriving in her new environment. On top of that, Amanda has helped me grow immensely as a rider and horse owner.

From a boarding standpoint, I never have to worry about my horse. It’s clear that Amanda pays close attention to the care of every horse out there. If something looks off with my horse, she notifies me immediately and we address it as necessary. Beyond that, there is always ample hay stocked and water tubs are always full.

I truly enjoy the way Amanda structures her lessons. She allows enough time for ample riding as well as individualized attention within a group setting. She is also very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. She has a unique way of being able to tailor any exercise in a lesson to work for multiple different levels of riders. Lessons are thoughtfully planned out and have a purpose. I have never left a lesson without learning something new.

Amanda also has an incredible leasing program. Years ago, I leased a horse in my previous state, and let me be the first to tell you, Amanda does it right.
I’ve watched multiple people (ages under 10 to grown adults!) in Amanda’s horse-lease program. It’s amazing to watch the bonds form between leaser and horse, and watch their relationship develop. Students have the opportunity to be a lot more involved by participating in the lease program and get a lot more hands on experience and riding time than you would by just taking a weekly lesson.

This place is a true gem and I look forward to being apart of the program for many more years to come.

We started our 5 year old daughter in horse lessons a few months back and she has absolutely loved it. Amanda and her team do a great job of making sure they teach age appropriate lessons for each rider and ensure their safety. In the beginning my daughter was more timid and a little nervous but it's been great to see her confidence increase week by week.These lessons are a family highlight each week and we look forward to seeing our daughter grow here.

Our experience with Lady A has been a tremendous gift. Amanda is joyful, encouraging, and gentle while guiding students towards their next step. She sees potential in all her students and builds them up towards success. Our daughter has had multiple opportunities to expand her knowledge and experience horsemanship in new ways. We are so grateful for Amanda’s time and talent, and always enjoy our time with her!

I started taking lessons from Amanda in October of ‘22.
I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons each week. Always learning something new or continuing to improve upon a past lessons subject. After a few weeks, I started leasing one of Amanda’s horses. It was super simple, easy, and came with lots of freedom. Not to mention everything is priced extremely fair.
Amanda is extraordinarily kind as well.
I’ve been riding on and off with her for a little over 5 months and I can confidently say you just can’t get this kind of experience anywhere else!

I've known Amanda for many years and she really knows her stuff. I recently started riding with the Wednesday class to get my confidence back after being off of horses for a while. Seeing how Amanda and Stephanie teach and interact with the students is fantastic. They really teach how to understand and communicate with your horse to have that partnership. If you or your child want to learn about horses and the correct way to ride, this is the place to be.

I absolutely adore Amanda and everything that she does! I started working with her when I was 12-13 and she taught me so much, not only about horsemanship but also myself. Her camps and lessons allowed me to grow as a rider and become way more confident in myself on and off the horses! I am very grateful to have had the experience working with her and I think she’s amazing!

Amanda and Stephanie are the absolute best! My daughter has been working with them for the past six years. Their teaching styles perfectly compliment one another. Their passion for horses, riding and competing is contagious. They make it fun while also teaching sound fundamentals and safety for both the rider and the horse. They are professionals through and through. I highly recommend Lady A Horse Performance!

Amanda is wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable, she gave lessons to my whole family and was able to with all of from my 5 year old who has never ridden and is diagnosed with ASD, to my wife and I, and adapt to our individual skill levels and comfort to help us succeed and grow in our abilities each time out! Whether you are brand new to riding, have casually ridden for years, or looking to compete in equine sports she will take great care to help you excel!

Amanda is amazing! She is very hands on, engaging, and personable with everyone she encounters. She has taught me and my sister things that we will use for the rest of our lives. She truly is the best at what she does. She's helped me clock times I couldn't imagine myself clocking four months ago. She's also helped me gain confidence in the saddle which has transferred over to my every day life. We are truly grateful for the presence she has in our lives.

Amanda has helped me greatly in my horsemanship, riding, and most importantly life skills. Throughout my Jr. High/Highschool rodeo career, she was so supportive and helped me and my horses accomplish so much more than we could’ve on our own. Her attitude and dedication towards her students is unmatched. I highly recommend for all levels of riding!!

Amanda and Stephanie do just an amazing job teaching kids about horsemanship in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment. In every aspect, from catching the horse, to husbandry, tacking up, overall safety, riding skills, and rodeo, they are constantly teaching and sharing their extensive knowledge. I would recommend their program to anyone looking give their kids a high quality experience in western riding.

Amanda is wonderful! Both the horsemanship and skills training are top notch, and Amanda works with her students so well. It is obvious she truly cares about making her students the best they can be.

We love Lady A Horse Performance soooo much! Both my girls 5 and 8 have learned so much from Ms. Amanda! Learning to ride and take a care of a horse has truly impacted them in a way that's changed their lives!

Amanda is AMAZING! My daughter Libby has been taking riding lessons with Amanda for over a year now. She has learned so much. Not just about horses but about herself as well. Amanda has given Libby more than just lessons about horse grooming and riding. She has built up Libby's confidence and self-esteem.
We love watching her grow. We couldn't ask for anyone better to teach Libby.

Amanda is the best! I am visiting my parents here in Texas and we took my 2.5 year old to her for a little ride. It was such a great experience! Amanda was wonderful with my daughter and engaged with Charlotte at her level so that she was able to participate in all aspects (brushing, shoeing, saddleling, and feeding treats) of the visit. Charlotte is still talking about it and, honestly, it made us wish we lived in Texas for lessons from Amanda!

I absolutely love riding with Amanda. She’s helped me improve my confidence and horsemanship beyond what I thought it was possible. She’s also an amazing mentor!!
