Gordo's Street Tacos

The owner is an amazing man! I have been coming here since they opened originally! Their food is made fresh daily, picked up from a butcher every morning, and most importantly when there’s leftover food he gives his employees the opportunity to take it home rather than throwing it out. These men are hard-working and are willing to go above and beyond for every single customer as if it was their own family. When a possible mistake was made there was no questioning my character or the authenticity of what I had to say. He was more than willing to refund me my money and even offered to treat myself and my family to dinner as an apology if the mistake was made on their behalf. Anyone that is willing to go that above and beyond for something that might not of even been their mistake has won me over officially! The food does a lot of talking for itself but the amount of love, character, and sense of community that’s put forth at this restaurant is remarkable. Not to mention the authenticity of the food itself! I have never felt so close to home here in Alabama until I ate here.

Everything tasted fresh. If you want some heat, get the red sauce. I'll be coming for dinner. If you're passing through or local, definitely check it out.

Gordos has great authentic Mexican food with even better prices. Helpful hint: For frustration-free ordering, I found it helpful to snap a photo of their menu on the side of their truck and then show the cook which items I wanted to order.

They literally never miss. I visit occasionally on my lunch break. They are quick and it's always good. The value for what you're getting is on point.

This is a hidden gem in Ardmore. It is by far the best Mexican food I've had since leaving my home in south Florida. Absolutely delicious!! It's a food truck experience, so keep that in mind if you intend on eating on site. There is some limited, covered outdoor seating available. You can also call ahead and get to-go and eat it wherever you like.

Amazing food! Awesome people! No clue why someone would say they couldn’t order due to language barrier! We had a wonderful conversation! Lovely hidden gem! We will be back!!

The BEST tacos in Tennessee! As good as the tacos in L.A! The chicken burrito excellent! El pastor quesadilla, delish! This dude is the real deal! Sooooo good!!!

I have had alot of food from other trucks in Huntsville. Gordo's is probably the best. The steak is seasoned and cooked perfectly. I can see more Gordo's in the future. Very good food. I would recommend to everyone.

Awesome tacos, loved each one of em. Nicely sized and hearty, the flavor put me in a trance - will definitely hit this lil trailer up every time I'm in Ardmore.
