Robbie was the first person to take action on my mom's behalf in a decade. Because of her and Perry County Hospital, my mother is receiving the right care back in my county. She gained nothing and when thanked simply stated "I'm glad I could help". Words can't express.

Great, caring staff. I am always amazed at the level of care each person receives at the Perry County Nursing Home.

Excellent Rehab Experience

Great people and staff

My mom was a resident in this facility for almost 2 months. The physical therapy sessions and the physical therapist were great with my mom.
However, Dr. Kenneth Salhany that sees the residents there and the nurses somehow didn’t know that she was getting really sick. She had a really low temperature, a bad cough and low blood pressure at 9pm on 12/7/23
My mom was so critical that by the time the paramedics were called at 11pm the paramedics were worried that she wouldn’t make it to the hospital. There was some confusion as to which hospital she was being taken to. She was taken to St Thomas Hickman ER. They weren’t able to take care of her there and she was so critical that she had to be flown to Maury Regional. There she was diagnosed with Aspiration pneumonia, septic shock. She passed away Dec 8 2023.
I personally wouldn’t recommend this Nursing home to anyone. There were issues with the social worker and case manager there as well. They had told my family member to bring cash there to the facility to pay for moms care. That’s not how it works.

Do not bring your family there or apply there. Staff is severly underpaid, and some cnas practically neglect their patients. The lazy workers get special treatment and the long term employees get no compensation for being good workers. They bring in patients from psych just to fill beds, but still don't staff extra workers, so the workload is insane. Some employees who have been here 15+ years don't even make $16 an hour. Office people have no clue what the techs go through and do nothing about their concerns. The building is in dire need of an upgrade, but the owners would rather go on vacation.
