PruittHealth Hospice (Anderson)

Pruitt Hospice of Anderson is much different than my experience with Pruitt of Atlanta. Our family member’s care was very short (about 16 hours), but the compassion and tender care provided by Turquoise RN and Carol RN On Call allowed her to finally find comfort and peace at home so she could pass with family at her side. I work as a hospice nurse for another agency in GA and I would recommend this specific hospice provider to friends and family. Thank you you to these ladies for their care and to Shane, RN/Liaison for assisting in the initial referral process! We ate very appreciate of this team!

I am an employee with Pruitt Hospice of Anderson SC.I have been employed here about 2yrs. And I'm looking forward to being here many more years.Its a joy to be able to work in a setting where we show love,support,and understanding to the patients and families.We give excellent care to our patients and make them feel comfortable and clean after every visit.I would definitely recommend Pruitt Hospice to anyone needing our services.

Hope Towns took care of my pop. She was so good to my family and my grandma. So thankful for her and all she did for my family! Definitely need more people like her in the medical field.

The turnover rate for their nurse techs is very high. We have had three nurse techs in the last year. When they don't want to come, they knock very gently so that it would be very hard for someone to hear the knock even if the person is standing right next to the door. They refuse to use doorbells-they are too loud and someone might answer the door. They .make a schedue and do not, cannot, or will not adhere to it. They won't call or reschedule patient care that they miss, or let you know when something unexpectedly
happens, and they can't come. The agency is not professionally managed at all.

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT let your family members be with this Hospice!! We have had such a bad experience with them their nurses do not care about the Patients we’ve had three nurses and they’re all just horrible we have now switched over to a new Hospice who is absolutely amazing I cannot believe the difference in hospice care the people at Pruitt hospice do not care about your family member and do not care about you they don’t even want to take care of people all they do is try and start fights with the family they’re rude and they’re horrible I’ve I don’t even want to give them one star but there’s no way to put zero stars! I am so blessed that we found a different Hospice and they don’t care about whether your family member has any medication or anything they just do not care and that’s a fact been there for a year with them and it’s been horrible! I would not send my worst enemy there let’s just say that! Also they like to scare you into doing things that you don’t wanna do so if you don’t wanna do something they hold something against you it’s crazy what they do they should be making you feel comfortable and being there for the patient not trying to start fights with family and things it was horrible! Hope and pray and that you think twice before signing up your family member for this Hospice! Also expressed my concerns numerous times and nothing was ever done all they did was change the nurse and then that nurse would be worse than the nurse before!! They made my mom cry several times! This is a Daughter of a mother who should have been treated better!!
