Great people! Great mechanics! I purchased a new boat from them in 2018! It had a few minor issues..Roger worked with the manufacturer & did a great job with the fixes! They have installed all of my electronics & did a great job! I'd never purchased here before but, they had the boat I wanted and i got a great deal!

Roger is a great guy I've had my boat in his shop multiple times for everything from yearly maintenance to rebuilding my motor to fixing my trailer and rewiring my boat. He will go out of his way to make sure you are happy with the end result and his quality of work is excellent. I will always bring my boat anytime it needs repaired to him. Very highly recommend him and his business.

Roger at Open Water serviced my old outboard Mercury motor and even made a house call when it was not running well. When I was ready to purchase a new motor, he suggested a great one and I ordered through Open Water. They made the purchase quick & easy and handled all the paperwork involved in getting it registered. In addition, they assisted me with selling my old motor for a very reasonable listing fee, again making the paperwork easy. Most recently I ordered a new trailer from Open Water. I can't say enough about how nice they are and how much they stand behind their work. Great customer care!

I have a 50hp Mercury outboard which we just bought used from Roger with a aluminum Boat. Motor had a small issue with it and we broke down. Of course a little disappointed but Roger and Tammy jumped into action. Roger went above and beyond for us and I am very happy with there service and they made us feel very appreciated!

No surprises, just good service. The team let me know the problem and the cost up front. No surprises and they (especially Roger) stuck through until all was working. Dash board wiring can be a headache and although I will have to figure out why the rear speakers don't work as they did before the big issue, I am sure it is just a loose connection. I won't bother them with something this trivial as the major work was done to the highest caliber. They will be my "go to" for any issues. Thanks.

Purchased a boat from Roger and Tammy about three years ago. They have both went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our boating experience. They do all the services on it and carry all the parts and accessories. They go out of their way to make their customers happy. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Great service bought my first boat here and it was a great experience. Always calling to remind me of warranty work and regularly maintenance that Is needed. Couldn't ask more from a place. Great staff local and know their stuff.

I don't know about the last post but that sounds like trailer work but I digress. Great family customer service. Locally owned and operated. The only set back is there so busy due to the mecs taking there time to do the job right the first time and treat every boat as there own. Idk what else to say but A+ in my book.

Good people they came in on Saturday there day off to unload the boat I had for them also plenty of restaurants close by

Been dealing with Roger at Open Water for the last decade and I’ve always felt treated fairly, knew the work done was quality and I’ll never go anywhere else in Eastern NC to have my boat serviced.

Roder and Tammy and their staff are helpful and professional..I have 2 Mercury outboards and they are the only place that I let work on and service..for almost any outboard or inboard Open Water is the place to go
