Hampton Inn by Hilton Sneads Ferry North Topsail Beach

This location met all the standards one would expect from a brand like Hampton Inn. The entire property was well-kept and appealing. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was well-appointed and comfortable. I had zero issues with this stay.

This Hampton Inn was great!!! It was 5 minutes from the location we were going. Having never been to Top Sail, and unsure of distance between destinations, the location was perfect. The staff was wonderful, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, the room accommodated my needs. The week before we stayed at a HI in Chattanooga, TN and it was awesome as well.

Great place to stay! Rooms are well appointed and clean. We stayed on a weekend and I was a bit taken a back when both lamps at the bed would not come on (yes they were plugged in) I went to the front desk to ask for light bulbs and I was told maintenance didn't work on the weekends so I couldn't get light bulbs, upon check out the MOD asked about our stay and I told her about the bulbs her response was the front desk should have let her know and she would have gotten them for us. I chalked it up to a lack of training. Overall the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was decent and the dining area was very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff & management team at the Hampton Inn Sneads Ferry, NC were exceptional. We found ourselves in a difficult situation with our planned move to the area. The entire team worked with us in every way to make us as comfortable as possible. The breakfast & housekeeping teams were also outstanding. The entire team wrote the book on professionalism, kindness, empathy, and superb customer service!! A very special thanks to Dustin & Krystal. We highly recommend the Hampton Inn Sneads Ferry, NC to all. We look forward to staying with them again as we prepare to complete our move to the area.

What I like about this hotel is that staff are friendly. The location is great for access to the beach, but not on the beach. If you like being on a beach, this isn't the right place. However, if you like being near food, grocery stores, drug stores and having a quick entry and exit from your hotel, this ticks all the boxes.

The place is clean. The rooms are nice. Even the TV makes sense - seems like a small thing, but let's be honest, hotel TV is a the last frontier of confusion.

There is a fridge and a microwave in the room, plenty of storage and the room is a decent size for two people. Ours had a pullout couch, so you could sleep four. Probably not great for four adults, but good for a family.

Overall, I give it 5 stars, because they are getting the details right. Also, I have noticed that Hilton hotels have been consistent. The other high end umbrella brand is hit or miss on everything except one brand in the portfolio. Clearly Hilton, in this region has a better handle on keeping its franchisees consistent with brand standards.

Hampton Inns are becoming my new favorite brand.

We had the pleasure of staying here to visit our son, who is a Marine. His home is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Very clean facility and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good each day.

Was recently visiting the area for a meeting at Camp Lejeune. I started researching early on, and saw that Sneads Ferry is actually closer to the base then Jacksonville (only a 8 minute drive vs. 30) This location sold me on their 5 star reviews.

The property is newer, think about 5 years old. Everyone I spoke to at the front desk was genuinely super helpful and nice. Breakfast was included everyday and changed daily with a good variety. The fitness facility was clean and treadmills faced the pool. In the evenings, cookies, drinks and coffee station is available. Rooms were clean and included a mini fridge and microwave.

If I were to offer some advice, it would be not to get a room without a connecting door if possible. I joked that the guy staying next door was “my roommate”. I could hear his entire conversations, we watched a few TV shows together, woke up with his alarm at 5:15am vs my 6:15am alarm, and felt the door slam shut at 6:00 when he left…. As a commercial interior designer, I noticed some of the properties chairs look as though the fabrics are failing in a few locations but overall a warranted 5 star stay due to value, safety, cleanliness and location! Plus the beach is only 8ish minutes away!

Front lobby, krystal , is wonderful. She is perfect customer relations for Hampton. Takes care of everything.

It was great! I don’t typically have high expectations for beach town hotels. I was blown away! The front desk staff was so friendly, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was great. Not to mention my kids loved having a cookie before bed each night (and I loved that there was chamomile tea in the lobby too). Overall really really great!

Best Hotel near Topsail Beach. The breakfast included is better than any other hotel breakfast I've had. They also have refreshing drinks and freshly baked cookies out during the day.

I arrived a few hours before check-in. I had been driving all night and thought I'd take a chance at seeing if my room was available. It wasn’t however, they were able to offer me another room which was just as nice. The hotel was extremely clean, and the room was very spacious. The beach is about a 10-minute ride away which wasn't too bad. I wish I could remember the name of the young lady who checked me in. She was very helpful. I will say out of the 6 or so employees we encountered in the halls only one spoke to us. He was an older African American male who was rolling a shop-vac. Everyone else either avoided eye contact or just didn't say anything. This isn't necessarily a complaint, just an observation. It was just a little odd as other major hotel chains that I frequent, the employees always speak. The cleanliness of the rooms and the two employees who were friendly made up for it. Overall, I would stay here again.

Great place because of location and convenience. Room were clean and staff especially where helpful with a smile. Front desk staff where always good nature and helpful. They made us feel comfortable.

I had a great 2 day stay starting with a smiling face checking me in early! The room as well as the common areas were very clean and the breakfast both mornings tasted great. Everyone was very nice and helpful especially Bernard. The Hampton is near the beach on Topsail Island. I would recommend staying here!!

We loved this hotel and will return when we visit the area again! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations are very well appointed and clean. All areas of the hotel were clean and well taken care of. Thank you!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay, everyone was very accommodating. The lady and the man that worked the morning breakfast were fantastic. I believe her name was Lori and his name was John. It was clean and well kept up. The girls at the front desk (Krystal and Rebecca) were wonderful. Thank you for making our stay one that we will always remember.

The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and hard working. The hotel was clean and well stocked in every department. Dolores continuously restocked the breakfast buffet which had a good selection of hot and cold food items. The reception area had coffee, water, and tea available outside of breakfast hours. Warm chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies were also available every night. My family and I stayed for 4 nights and opted to not have our room clean. Housekeeping was visible every day so it was easy to get additional clean linens. The hotel is 5 minutes from Topsail Island and an hour away from Emerald Isle and Wilmington. We will definitively stay here again.

Such a nice place to stay. Close to Camp Legune and Camp Geiger, which is why we were in town. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the room is because of the barn door for the bathroom. I'm not a fan of not being able to lock a bathroom door. Otherwise, everything was clean and nice.
The staff was so helpful and kind. We needed a cot, sharpie, and local pizza place info while we were there. All requests were met with a smile and a friendly attitude. The kids loved the breakfast...cereal, waffles, omlets, and even hard-boiled eggs.
Would definitely stay again!
