Village Ace Hardware

Moved to town a few months ago and am in here almost weekly getting things for odds and ends home jobs, plants and gardening, holiday decor etc. All of the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful. Even when I’m not sure exactly what I need they’re happy to talk through options and ideas. It’s so convenient to be able to run up the road and I love coming in - it’s always a great experience!

Was there today. I'm from PA. Don't hold that against me. I'm from the good part. Now, those people are a good old fashioned hardware and more. Super nice,super knowledgeable. NC is our second home. This hardware is definitely my go to.

Not only does this hardware store appear to have a little bit of everything, but the employees are top-notch! When we desperately needed a tool to fix an RV plumbing problem, we had to drive 20 minutes to this store for that item. Not only did they have the tool, but Tom Supple knew exactly what the problem was, how to fix it, and how to prevent the problem in the future. Absolutely recommend this store. I will not hesitate to visit again.

I run into this store to pick up stuff for the house. I get everything from hardware, coffee filters (the Bunn filters sit higher, so no ground in the coffee), bird seed, flags, etc. Always friendly staff.

Nice store, helpful staff, good inventory, and surprisingly good prices for a rural small business.

Super nice place . We always pop out to get the fellas fishing licenses for NC when we vacation each year. We made into the parking lot with only 10min to go but they helped us get everything we needed for a wonderful time here in Topsail.

I walked in and you need help they were very friendly and willing to help. Very informed wunderbrow products they have in the store let me in the right direction got what I needed and checked out. Had no problem with the product they sold me

Great selection and very helpful staff

First i called, and Stacey estimated how much dirt i would need for my new flower beds. Then Michael dropped off the dirt. We couldn't get it exactly to my garden beds, so Michael helped take it wheelbarrow load by wheelbarrow load to the garden beds. I'm disabled, and even though I told him I would figure it out, he still placed all of it in my garden beds. It was just the right amount of dirt as well.

Staff is always helpful and they always have what I'm looking for. So glad to have them nearby!

Came in needing to adapt a faucet water line. The gentleman who helped me was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He knew exactly where every part was and verified that I had all of the tools 🔧 I needed.

Love love love our local Ace Hardware! So grateful to not have to go to Lowe's all the time! Other than lumber they have just about everything you need to work around the house and on local jobs. Very knowledgeable staff! Tim and Stacey specifically go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need and answer any questions you have! Highly recommend!

A bit pricey compared to large stores, but you can't beat the convenience of not having to leave the town. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable, Stacy is a legend. The cashier's aren't usually to helpful and their dry, Daria like attitudes can stay at home. Otherwise, great store

Tim was super helpful in sourcing special screws that I needed for a construction project. He looked through all the available special order items to find what I was seeking. They have a great selection of items not available in the big box stores. Tim is a very friendly guy, and the team at Village Ace Hardware always provide great service!

Great place to shop in Sneads Ferry! The staff is always welcoming and helpful each time I visit. I love all their home and outdoor decor! They carry most anything you can think of for your home and more. I have purchased a huge variety of items from here such as face masks, garden flags, Yeti cups, paint, a yardstick, door stops, door mat and my son even found a toy chainsaw accessory for his Halloween costume last year! You'll be surprised what you'll find at this little gem of a store tucked away in the sweet village of Sneads Ferry! I highly recommend it!
