Working with Stephen Skakandy to get my house sold was one of the best experiences I have ever had in the business world. My wife and I were very nervous about selling our first house, especially since we no longer live in the area. Stephen was very patient with us as we had a multitude of questions, he even worked with our property management company and renters to coordinate inspections and showings. When issues would arise (as they do in any major sales situation) Stephen would talk us through exactly what was happening and he always had a solution that worked out with minimal effort on our end. With all of my work and schooling, I was very nervous that selling the house would make it hard to handle all of my other responsibilities. Thanks to Stephen this was not an issue! When contractors needed to be hired or people needed to be called, Stephen took care of it for us! I also want to mention how available Stephen was. He answered his phone nearly every time we called and when he couldn’t he would call back within the hour. He kept us appraised of everything going on with the sale and always offered sound advice without ever being pushy. He left every option available to us and did not try to sway us into taking any steps we were not comfortable with. Above all of these great things, the thing I liked the most about working with Stephen is his honesty. There was not a point in time in the process where I didn’t feel I could trust him completely.
