We give Josh Kahler our highest recommendation! We were referred to him and from the first contact we knew we had selected the right person to help us find and purchase our property. Initially, we didn't know if we were going to buy a house or a beach condo, so when we drove to NC to meet with him, he had scheduled visits to a few stand-alone homes as well as a couple of beach condos. We found him to be very friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the housing market and the local area, very professional and absolutely responsive to all our questions while we were there as well as from the time we selected a condo to purchase up until the time we closed. My home buying experience was a tough one. Lots of looking at houses, inside and outside the city. Run downs to top notch houses. A very complicated and stressful buying process. But one that was made a little easier thanks to Josh. I informed him of everything going on, and he provided reassurance and tools to help with anything I needed. He pushed for the idea of the buyer not setting down just on any house but to keep looking for "the" house. During the whole process Josh was always professional and looking for the best for me as a first time homeowner. I had struggles with my bank and he contacted them directly to see what was going on. Everyone on the team is great! They were extremely profesional and understood I was a first time home buyer so we’re patient and answered every single one of my question and concerns. We had the smoothest home buying experience thanks to Mellisa from Realist Homes! We had to purchase our house site unseen while my husband with gone for his job (military) and she relieved any stress that I could have possibly had throughout this experience! Not only was she available anytime I called with questions, she went above and beyond after closing as well to help our transition continue to be stress free. It took us a couple of months to get down to our new house after closing; in that time Melissa helped us get painters set up (not only recommending painters, but being there on the day they showed up to act on our behalf) and she did the same for the people installing our carpets! Every PCS move is stressful, but having Mellisa as our realtor made us feel significantly more at ease!
