First time trying this little restaurant. Great experience overall. Staff knowledgeable on their menu and how to accommodate substitution for a specific food allergy. Food took about 10-12 mins to come out and it was hot and tasty. Would definitely come back again.

For some reason during our visit, a few other guests wanted samples of their food before ordering and they got mad at the staff. But I wouldn’t consider this an issue with the restaurant more about the guests really.

Wonderful gem of a place hidden inside Thomasville. Not just a place for taco’s however. There is a wide selection of food items. I have had the alambré tacos and the chorizo pupusas. Both were delicious!
I highly recommend trying this restaurant for yourself. The dining room is clean and comfortable, the prices are good and management very professional and kind.

First I want to say how helpful the owner was explaining the different dishes to me since I dont know a whole lot about El Salvadoran food.

Secondly, I want to say that the sauce that came with the Pupusas might be the tastiest sauce I have ever had at any restaurant. I have no idea what it was except I guess it may be carrot based. It was not hot at all but holy moly it was EXQUISITE. I truly could drink it.

I got the Pupusas mixed on the owners suggestion and I went with the three that he recommended (pork, bean and cheese). I have had Pupusas before and I thought they were ok but these were just amazing! They came with this vinegary type slaw that I really liked but it is heavy on the vinegar.

My dining partner got the cheese quesadillas. She gave me a bite and they were good. But the rice and the beans were the real stars. The rice was fluffy and full of flavor and the refried beans were just plain good (not heavy and oily like some spots).

I got the order to go and the owner told me it would take about 15 minutes because they make everything to order. I will be back to try some of the other dishes that I am not familiar with.

Hidden gem. Best tacos in the area and papusas are the only authentic ones I have had in NC so far. I wish I took a picture of the tacos but they are well represented in photos in other reviews.

Stopped in for lunch. Food and service were great. Will go again

Incredibly authentic Salvadorian food at a fantastic price. I recommend starting with the guacamole, which is made fresh to order then following with the tacos al pastor. Friendly waitstaff and quick service.

I stopped by today around 4 pm on a Friday, the food was good and freshly made, the staff was nice and amicable. We had pupusas with curtido; the curtido was fresh and crunchy, loved it! The kids had quesadillas of beef and chicken, both had good seasoning. The restroom was very clean although a bit tiny but then again I'm big lol and the tables were clean without crusty matter. Stop by if you have a moment, I'm sure you'll like it.

This place is worth coming to! If u love pupusas, flautas and the whole 9 yards come on down..will come back with the whole familia. 💙

The food was delicious, I ate pupusas and totopos, all were very tasty. I recomend this place.
