Smith Family and Cosmetic Dentistry

I have been a patient at Smith Family Dentistry for about 5 years. I have had the opportunity to be cared for by many of the dentists, dental assistants and hygienists, as well as the front of house staff. Everyone is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. You are treated like family there. The know your name and remember details about you.
My primary dentist, Dr. Gill, is too notch!
She makes you feel comfortable and safe. She gives you the options for treatment plans and talks you through them every step of the way. I loved working with her so much, that she now cares for my children as well. She is as friendly as she is professional. No one ‘really likes’ going to the dentist, but she does make the appointments an enjoyable experience. Her assistants are always great too. I most recently had the privilege of working with Tyffannee. She explained everything in depth and provided amazing care.
I would recommend this office 10/10 without any hesitation!

We had a great experience with Dr. Gill and her assistant Jennifer. My 5 year old son needed his fillings (from another office) redone and they took such good care of him and he wasn't stressed or scared at all, I was amazed. They explained everything they did as they went along with the appointment and it took the mystery out of it all. I recommend this office, especially if you need somewhere to take your kid.

Amber is hands down the best person who has ever cleaned my teeth! The girl who took my x-rays, Kristine with a K of course, was so much fun. It really took the edge off my dental anxiety! Everyone In the office was very chill and I will definitely be telling my friends to come in and see these ladies!

I have total anxiety when it comes to the dentist! Dr. Dill and her staff (Ms.Linda and Sarah) have been so good to me these past months! HIGHLY recommend them! Wonderful front staff as well! BUT if you want a great dentist Dr.DILL is ONE of a kind. I am in the medical field and she calms me and is so explanatory of what she wants to do and makes me SO relieved!

Anyone going to smith family dentistry should recommend Dr. Gill and Jenn C… let me just say WOW! What a great team they are! I have fairly high anxiety and they are ALWAYS making me feel comfortable and get me through every time. I have never had a dentist do a filling that was smooth, unpainful, and barely felt like it was there until I came to the sneads ferry location and Dr Gill started my care plan!

Smith Family Dental is an excellent dental practice. The entire staff is extremely well trained, professional, competent, friendly and accommodating. Dr Gill and Madi assisted me today and were great. Dr Smith, Dr Peachee, Dr Shirley, the entire professional staff- all top notch. The hygienists and dental assistants are terrific. The administrative staff also works very well with patients and insurance plans and goes the extra mile. If you’re looking for a dental practice close to home, highly recommend Smith Family Dental.

The absolute best dental office in coastal Carolina. From the excellent support staff (Melissa and Jessica), the hygienists, and Dr Smith, Dr Gill, and Dr Peachee, my family and I have received the best care for over 10 years.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. After having several horrible experiences at "The Big Dental Places" I was very apprehensive about getting a problem taken care of. Dr. Peachee took the time to explain what he was going to do. I felt absolutely no pain or pressure. I feel really good about finding a dentist I trust!

Phenomenal work by dr Fichey and Mariah, to be completely honest, I’m a terror. I am so scared of needles that I was shaking uncontrollably in the seat. I had canceled my appointment 4 times previously due to this phobia, and probably rightfully so after my last terrible experience at another dentist. They both comforted me, and helped me along every step. I honestly don’t think I could’ve had a better experience, and for those worried, I did NOT feel the needle AT ALL. These ladies have the magic touch and thankful to say I won’t be TOO afraid to come in again for my next two fillings. Thank you both 💗

Mr Smith… give Dr.Gill and Jennie a raise, I just came in super late for my appointment and they stayed late and did my X-rays and cleaning and were still super nice to me even though I was super late. I will be returning because of great customer service!

Years of dental trauma wiped away by this office. So patient with my timid was. So kind to me. Willing to talk me through every single thing. After neglecting my teeth and gums for many years after a couple bad experiences, this was absolutely the perfect place to land.

I am so grateful that they just went slow and steady and didn’t shove everything in to one appointment. Everything was explained ahead of time. As I left, I was prepared for next appt, able to ask any questions. I was given estimate for how much next appt would be and a reminder card.
I received a reminder call and text(per my request because I’m old). And then when I arrived I was asked by the front desk if I had any questions.
Taken to room, asked if I had questions, given every chance to feel calm and good before the work was done.

Dr. Amanda Gill is the best dentist around, makes you feel comfortable, and handles the procedures with full professionality and her assistants Bethany & Jennifer.

First of all, thanks so much for scheduling me in at the last minute, on a Friday and before a three day holiday weekend, with a tooth emergency. Dr. Peachee and his assistant Jenn did a fantastic job with fixing the problem and it was pain free. My tooth looks perfect. You guys are really the best!

I can't say enough good things about Dr.Gill and her team. I needed a full mouth extraction with immediate dentures. I was so nervous about the whole thing, but she put me at ease from the moment I meant her. The extractions were near painless, and the whole team was amazing throughout. Smith Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is an incredible family-oriented practice. I have been coming here for about 3 years and all the staff are incredible. Past experiences in the military with dental care really hindered my confidence in seeking cleanings, etc. Smith dentistry has been gentle, understanding, and accommodating to those fears. They create a soothing environment and ensure your treatment plan aligns with what you’re comfortable with. I’m really grateful for this practice.
