Pinewood Station

Pinewood Station, or Flint Ridge as I knew it from 15+ years ago is a beautiful property. The views of the fountains in the ponds are amazing. The old office staff was rarely around but the new staff is amazing. Emily is a rock star, who is as sweet as candy. The maintenance guys all introduced themselves to me. Dwayne, Darius, Edgar are very knowledgeable and have helped with the small issues I've had. Location is perfect! Easy access to both 85 and 40. I literally never hear a neighbor unless it's kids playing in the courtyard and I have my windows open. I thought it would be terrible to go from a house to a townhome, yet, I find myself loving it more each day.

This is a safe community surrounding a beautiful natural area. It is located close to down town Hillsborough. The office staff are fantastic and ready to assist. The grounds are very well-kept. In fact, visitors have told me that many times. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

So, I have been a resident at this complex for almost 2 years now. I'm not sure when the new management took over, but Christine has been beyond amazing! I had some financial struggles and she worked with me and really helped me figure out options. She has also been very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I've had and I am just blown away by the kindness the whole complex has given me and my son! Her and Emily were great additions to the management and I'm just very happy living here!

Pinewood Station is a hidden gem with a wooded setting, lake, a great location, and a lot of sq. ft. for the money. We moved into the Lory in April of 2021, I waited a bit before reviewing so I could give an honest review. The office staff is simply amazing! Elizabeth made the moving in process so smooth and easy, answering all of my questions and helping me though every step of moving. Her and April made us feel welcome and right at home from the moment we walked in the door to inquire about availability. Elizabeth checked in a week after our move in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Maintenance is prompt and very friendly. We had a few run of the mill issues and they fixed them right away. The grounds are kept beautiful and the residents are all friendly. It truly has a community feeling.

Lory of Hillsborough is one of the most pleasant apartment complexes in the Hillsborough area. The beautiful lake and park like surroundings create a haven of peace and quietude. Since the ownership changed from Ashford Lakes to Lory of Hillsborough, the general appearance of the complex has been really spruced up. The staff in the leasing office are professional, extremely friendly and very accommodating. Maintenance issues are always addressed very promptly. The community is conveniently situated adjacent to I-85 and close to I-40 making it easily accessible to points east and west of Hillsborough. My mother has lived at The Lory for eight years and been extremely happy with her apartment and management. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for an apartment home in the Hillsborough area, I highly recommend this charming community.

Lory of Hillsborough has made my moving experience the best one yet! April was incredibly helpful and understanding of my needs. She maintained open communication with me throughout the whole process!
Lory of Hillsborough is one of the best places to live in Hillsborough. The community is very clean and let’s not leave out the beautiful layout of the grounds and the apartment homes! Lory of Hillsborough is safe and very quiet. There is nature all around you. The birds chirp beautifully in the mornings. The sunlight that filters through the windows is exactly what is needed during the colder days! If you are looking for a home this is where you will find it! I personally would 100% recommend this amazing place!!!

I have just recently signed my 7th lease here. I moved here after a divorce, expecting it to be a quick stop. I ended up falling in love with the community. The property is one of the nicest apartment communities I have seen.
It is also nice to fish in the lake. The views are very pleasant. The pool is always kept up very nice, as is the gym. It may be small, but the equipment allows for a complete workout.
Prior to buying my own washer and dryer last year, I never had any issues with the laundry room either.
The best thing is how close I am to all the local hiking trails, as well as downtown Mebane and downtown Chapel Hill.
I'm not going anywhere any time soon.

Ashford Lakes is a great community! We really enjoyed the ambiance with the lakes, walking paths and pool area. Most of all, the staff was wonderful and helpful! The management office was always responsive and when repair requests were submitted it never took more than 24 hours for the helpful maintenance crew to be at our door working to resolve. A great place to rent in the beautiful Hillsborough area.

I love living here. We have great neighbors, kids have a great time. Safe. Lovely landscaping and beautiful walkways. We enjoy the community garden and playground and the pool of course. Our maintenance men are always on top of things and quickly fix any time I ever need them they respond immediately.

I love this apartment community because it is clean, well maintained, peaceful, landscaped nicely, friendly neighbors, great highway access and management is highly responsive and caring to our needs! Kelly, the Property Manager, has been extremely helpful from the start in helping us obtain an apartment and garage on-site, while we were still in Colorado. Her constant attention to our needs and details made our relocation much smoother and we are very grateful to her dedication to making us happy tenants!

Ashford Lakes has superb leasing staff and the grounds are truly beautiful. A flock of Candadian geese frequents the main lake in the early mornings of the winter, and children feel safe to play amongst the trees. The oaks and pines boast a remarkably large population of squirrels, and the parking lots lay on the outskirts of the buildings rather than in between. The only downsides are very small kitchens and old flooring that enables the sound of footsteps to travel to apartments below.

We have lived in Ashford Lakes since October 2013 and LOVE it here!!! It is so peaceful and the staff is top-notch. Pamela and Josh in the front office are AMAZING - they care about us as residents and always have a smile whenever we come into the office. The pool area is so beautiful ~ it is a great place to swim and meet the neighbors. There is wildlife around the lake - my daughter loves going on walks to see what we can find. Yesterday, there was a gorgeous heron visiting the lake.
The main reason we moved here is for the townhome style floor plans. We love having two floors. It is so quiet here ~ we never hear our neighbors and they have told us they can not hear us either! It is the best layout, grounds, and value in the Hillsborough area!

These 5 stars are for Elizabeth Nieves. She made the application and move in process as smooth as possible for my mother. Elizabeth was always quick to reply to any question via phone, text or email and happily answered all of my mother's questions. In person, she was always cheerful and happy to see us. She gave us outstanding customer service. Thank you Elizabeth!

Let me just start off by saying that this community is so gorgeous. It's in a more woodsy part of Hillsborough and has a beautiful lake that myself and family have thoroughly enjoyed. You can fish on the lake and there are lounge chairs everywhere. My townhome has so much space and I am so sad to be leaving but can definitely say I have enjoyed my stay here! I would recommend this place to anyone!

The staff was so welcoming and even made us a welcome package, seemed very professional and friendly, actually listened and noted my concerns. The layout of the amenities are so nice they have a huge lake that you can fish in, pool, community garden, doggie park, and a playground for kids. Overall the community seems like a great and safe place to live.

Cannot say enough how responsive the maintenance team, Steve and Richard have been. I called Steve this Sunday and he was at my door ASAP. So good to live on the property and having peace of mind things will get fixed.

Me&my wife lived at ashford lks.community for 3yrs.&we really enjoyed the country like setting&all the friendly people as well.we made alot of friends espec.when relaxing at the pool.we want to say thank you to the office&maintenance staff for always taking care of us in whatever had to be done in making our stay at ashford lks.more pleasurable.i would recommend the complex to anyone looking for a beaut.&peaceful place to live.have a great summer everyone lv.ya all
