Bennett Cerf Dog Park (Members Only)

Went to a wedding party there. Absolutely beautiful. Nice little place to walk around.

My 2 dogs love to go anywhere at anytime we were here a few weeks ago and they enjoyed their time marking their territory and I made sure to pickup afterwards as necessary. I brought doggie bags, however, in case you forgot or did not even think of this park while you were riding to do chores taking the pets since it was drive thru pickups and nearby the park it reminded you to check it out, all that to say; if you forgot or don’t have doggie bags, this park provides having a few stations around the multiple fields, playground, picnic tables, catch & release pond having water fountain in one section, walkway throughout the entire park that has some picnic tables underneath a cover with one large pavilion with at least 10 picnic tables off in a area you can see everything yet be somewhat private, that large pavilion with trash can lets you park in the lot adjacent to the lighted ball field with grandstand along with I believe is a snack bar in the bottom section of the building to which announcer’s can see above behind batters box. Today only 3 vehicles and maintenance crew leaving as I parked made sure it was clean, bags in containers as well as the doggie stands. I’m sure the park is well used during community events, never attending one I will be checking out the calendar so I can experience a pet friendly park in all its glory. Until then my boys and I will be stopping by as time permits may even have a family gathering. It’s a nice park that majority of residents have no idea it’s here. Ask someone in westminster or nearby how to find Bennett Cerf Park especially those without kids playing sports, they’ll have no idea.
So! Next trip North West driving up 140 Baltimore National Pike when you pass The Mall of Westminster (Cranberry mall) take the off ramp onto 97 passing 84 Lumber on left, the traffic light to mall on your right, through the next light that goes left to Hanns sausage maybe stopping at their store, you go to the next light where right takes you back towards the mall area or out to Hampstead/Manchester depending upon your turn. At this light you will turn left towards Random House only you do not turn right to Random House you’ll drive a few hundred feet making a left into the Bennett Cerf park. Look them up online it’s listed as Bennett Cerf Dog Park. Really I just looked. Lol

The dogs love it here, the park we used to go to in Howard county is pale in comparison. There is plenty of room for both our big dogs to run around and the price for a year is very affordable.
There are two cons however: first, some pet owners are just disgusting horrible people and can't clean up after their dogs; second, some pet owners think it's funny that their "friendly" dog is a vicious little **** who doesn't know better because they don't know how to control their dog.

My dog has been a member since day one. That will be five years in March 2017. He has so much fun! He jumps over the high jump daily at least 20 times; he loves the ramp and platform; and jumps up on the tires and tunnel! He plays with other dogs and has friends he knows for years whom he loves; both human and canine. The park is an oasis for dogs and we are grateful for it! The cost for a year is very reasonable. Members can attend board meetings and have a say in recommendations to the county. All in all not too shabby.

I absolutely love this little park. I don't have a dog, but I take my children to this park. We enjoy the scenery. There's a small river, a mini waterfall, small play area, and a walking trail.

Nice place to walk your dog they also have a nice pond for fishing and a ball field

Private park. Has some drawback with the sharp woodchips. Agility type obstacles are a nice addition. Overall great place to run your pets.

I love to watch the dogs play. And sometimes the owners let me pet the puppets. It's also a good place to play Pokemon Go

Good place with a lot of thought given to make a good dog park including security, and requiring shot records.

This park is well kept. You can watch the geese, watch little league games and enjoy the pristine park.
