Fat Boy's Crab Shack

First time going an I will definitely be going back... I love 🦀🦀 they were delicious😋 an the shrimp was very flavorful. I've never had shrimp with onions🧅 but they were very good...

My experience at Fat Boy's Crab Shack was fantastic! The crab legs were huge and meaty and the sides like corn on the cob and hush puppies were delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making it a memorable dining experience.

I heard so many great reviews about this place and finally had a chance to try it for myself! This location is off the beaten path though well worth the trouble to find. Plenty of parking, limited seating inside, though lots of seating outside if you enjoy eating your crabs outdoors. There is also little play area for the kids outside. They actually steam the crabs outside too. I ordered the fatboys because why not I was at Fatboys?! They were pricey though I don't mind paying for good food, just don't want to pay a shiny red penny for bad food. They were a great size, flavored well, and meaty. We also ordered the steamed shrimp which were fresh, steamed perfectly and had a great flavor. I will definitely head back there soon.

Steamed blue crabs, colossal crab cake, hush puppies, fries, homemade coleslaw, corn on the cob.......all outstanding. Also crab bisque is awesome. You know the crab cake is good when there is no sign of filler or binder, not sure how they keep it together. Everyrhing here was wonderful. We sat out back too, picnic tables on the deck, plenty of room, trees everywhere. Great vibe. HIGHLY recommended.

The broiled seafood platter, onion rings and cream of crab soup are tasty and my server Trina was absolutely great! She really went above and beyond to make me comfortable so I could have an enjoyable meal. I will be back!

It's a little loud for lunch with the music cranked but we were the only ones in the place. The food was awesome. I had the cod sandwich and my mom had a Philly and we both loved out meals.

Not even lying — actually the best crab cake sandwich I’ve ever had in my 32years of living (and eating lots and lots of crab).

Can I even call it a crab “cake”? It was a massive 8oz pile of perfectly cooked, crispy on all the right edges and soft in the middle, not even fishy but sweet succulent lumpy crab. Holy cannoli. Truly blew my world.

We also got the creamy crab soup AND Maryland crab soup COMBINED - halfsies - in a cup. Best suggestion ever from our friendly checkout server.

Awesome hush puppies - small bit of sweetness but mostly savory, lots of outer crunch and nice and chewy inside.

Delish fresh seasonal vegetables (grilled summer squash, zuccs and onions).

Well worth every penny. We can’t wait to come back some day if our travels bring us this way again!

Delicious Crab Soup, Crab Balls Appetizer, Crab Cake and Snow Crab Legs. Staff friendly and efficient. Truly enjoyed sitting on the Patio, listening to Music and enjoying excellent food.

Great Seafood great people working there it's always a great time. every time I go there and I brought friends, now they love to go there very nice people!

We went in search of lunch. We have been on the trail of the perfect Maryland Crab Cake for a while now. On a sunny Sunday afternoon around 1:30pm, the parking lot was full. We went for it and were not disappointed. We got a couple of ears of corn, something to drink, these two 8oz crab cakes and water. Service was very good, from everyone we dealt with. Food came quickly and was great. Very little mustard in these cakes. Just solid nicely broiled crab meat. Larger chunks on the top and smaller down under. It was a nice sunny day. We ate out on the deck, a little Jimmy Buffet music playing. A great afternoon lunch.

I love the the Crab Shack! The crabs are always in season regardless of what season we are in. The shells are 96% always strong and seemingly fresh. Not soft (like when old or recooked) I am always satisfied whether I make it for Happy or late night before they shut down at midnight! (The pic was a late night Wednesday run around 8:30pm) I was full and pleased!

Best crab cake ever! Pure sweet lump crab with nearly zero filler and fried to perfection with tasty Boardwalk fries. Good eats. Good price. Nice atmosphere too!!!

I am in Loooove with this place. The crabs are so on point, the atmosphere is fantastic, the beer is great, and their outdoor seating is spacious. The best part is their prices and the nibbles are just so good. My go-to’s : a dozen crabs, corn on the cob, hush puppies, clams, and the last trip we tried the shrimp with jerk seasoning ... mmmm mmm.

I am hungry writing this, and I can’t wait for warmer days to go back on the patio with friends and chomp on that yummy Maryland crab.

One more mention. They seem to make their own crab bay seasoning and there are bigger chunks of salt in them than a traditional old bay seasoning. I don’t mind it I avoid the big chunks and just dip the crab in the seasoning and the buttahhhh. 😋

Crabs are expensive and still often run out after 3pm. The food and taste delicious. My food has always been served hot. The servers aren't as friendly like as they use to be. I love the cool deck and ambiance of the fishing decor. This place gives off a nice at homey feel, but the inside is very crowded. The bathrooms need rennovating, but are often very clean.

Always like to support locally owned businesses, this place doesn't disappoint. By far, these guys have the best crabs on the shore!

Fat Boys is a local favorite. Crabs, seafood, even burgers are good. Orange 🍊 crush, my favorite is always a good choice here. There is seating inside, outside under cover, on the deck, or even in the back by the playground. The play area is not fancy at all, but it keeps the kids busy 😀

Great food and nice atmosphere. Bartender was very nice and took care of everything I needed. Decent prices and good service.

Party of 9 was handled in a terrific way..we have been coming for years and always great. Apps was raw oysters(always fresh), hushpuppies with home made honey butter, crab dip and calamari. Our mani orders were all over the place with brisket, snow crab, soft shell, etc....all were great. we all had beer so van only speak to that....but great variety and great options on tap. Highly recommend. Always call ahead if large parties and Fat Crabs will take care of you...
