Hot Rod's Diner

This is a fun place to eat and hang out. Everything is excellent! My appetizer was chili cheese tater tots. I had country steak with collard greens, green beans, house-made slaw and cornbread. Very tasty! Lots of neat old signs on the walls. Banana split for dessert was yummy!

Delicious food! Great friendly prompt service! Great owners! Would recommend higher than five star if I could! Definitely will be back

We recently rented Hot Rod’s special event room for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. The room had been recently refurbished and was simply beautiful. It was the perfect atmosphere for this special occasion. Greg and Lisa were great and easy to work with. They bent over backwards to make this event just right. And, as always the food was delicious. The peach cobbler was the best I’ve ever had! This is the perfect place for gatherings of any type for groups up to about 40 people. Not only will we be back, all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and many indicated they planned to utilize this space for their own events. I’m so glad we chose this place!

This was our first visit to the diner and I am pleased to say we were not disappointed. Despite the restaurant being a little busy, the service was wonderful and our food tasted great. The cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger plates were generously portioned and cooked perfectly along with thick slices of bacon and fresh garden. The fries were also cooked and seasoned perfectly and the country fried steak plate with mac-n-cheese (also generously portioned) all tasted great. We finished off with strawberry and vanilla milkshakes which were excellent because you just can't go wrong with Mayfield ice cream.
Our server was very friendly and took great care of us. The atmosphere was welcoming, my daughter got a kick out of the eclectic vintage style signage on the walls and we appreciate the unapologetic support they show first responders and military within the wall decor. We will definitely be back.

This place was packed! This was my 1st time and the place made you feel like you were in the good ol' days. The music they played was oldies but goodies. And such a wonderful variety of food. The waitresses were so pleasant. Food was awesome.

Probably my favorite restaurant in the area. Staff is great, Atmosphere is relaxed . You just have to decide do I want the Hamburger or the Country Fried Steak. You can't go wrong with either.

All around good experience. Loved the classic real diner atmosphere. Food was good, dessert was good, service was good.

The cooks really did a great job. The Reuben sandwich was tops at our table. A variety of food choices. The salad was good also.The guys got the juicy hamburger. Try this place and you will come back again.

Hot Rod's has the atmosphere of a 1960's diner. Clean and excellent service. My husband and I had blue plate special of country fried steak, mac and cheese and fried okra. Yummy...yummy! Then we shared a brownie hot fudge sundae...yeah, it was to die for. Highly recommend!

The food and atmosphere was so good that I ordered more food than I could eat. I wanted to try everything. Love this gem of a find. If you are coming through Social Circle than I recommend stopping here. I also purchased a long sleeve shirt as a souvenir.

We don't visit regularly, but every time we do, it's totally worth it. The food is good with a nice variety on the menu. The staff is always so pleasant. Love the atmosphere and the decore. We showed up right as they opened at 11AM on a Saturday and were seated without wait. It very quickly got busy and was a full house within an hour. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a good eat and delicious dessert. Peach cobbler and ice cream were spot on. My duaghters LOVED the vanilla milk shake. We will continue to visit for lunch and dinner.

Even though we arrived there within about half an hour before closing all of the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The menu has a great variety of diner dishes, from burgers, sandwiches to peach cobbler and of course the obligatory shakes and melts. The food arrived quickly, was very fresh and tasted great. The entire place is clean and well kept and has a certain kind of charm.
Should we ever be in the area we will definitely stop by again! And we can also definitely recommend it!

Delicious and fresh! Fried okra was crunchy and hot, my strawberry milkshake had real berry in it, and the burgers were huge with great quality beef. Can't wait to return.

Came in today in memory of my late husband he loved this place we had ate at this place before we got married so in his memory myself and best friend came today , we love the staff excellent service and Great food Thanks for the good memories today

I eat at Hot Rods a couple times a month! Their food, their staff, & their atmosphere never fail to make my visit superb!! Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms!! I can’t say enough good things about this place!!

Country fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Super yummy! Also, got jalepeno hushpuppies they were yummy too.

Always great food and service!!! Never have seen the restaurant dirty, always clean, a big plus for me.

The food was amazing, but what we really loved was our server. She was such a breath of fresh air! So attentive, sweet and polite, and didn't make us feel like we were too much trouble. Thank you Livy, you made our lunch so enjoyable!

Food was very good, service was excellent, if I am ever back in town I will visit again.
