Hampton Inn Americus

We came into for a funeral service after a long drive and reading reviews we were very hesitant! This hotel is without a doubt a go too. The lady the check is in was absolutely the best! Room was clean and inviting.The morning we left my husband went down for breakfast and the lady was the generous person we’ve met! She deserves TIPS PEOPLE! Geez 🙄 Some people honestly have nothing better to do than write negative reviews. Would definitely stay here again! Keep up the great work.

Had a wonderful stay. Rooms are a little dated but clean and everything worked. The staff was the absolute best. From checkin to housekeeping. The breakfast was by far one of the best I’ve ever had at a Hampton. The lady who put it all together kept checking on everyone, making sure we were taken care of. It’s just a little outside of the downtown Americus area but a very quick drive.

The staff greeted me warmly. Check in was a breeze. All the staff I saw was very friendly. The room was nicely cooled when I arrived. The refrigerator was actually cold (I feel like a lot of times it is not anymore). The room had a wall that the bed was against that was not an in-between rooms wall (I love that).

Room was clean. Check out was easy and quick.

I did not visit the downtown area, but it is really cute and looked like several diners for evening dinner.

Shonda and Johnnie (guess desk) are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I stay there once a week and they treat me like family! They're very professional and I can't say enough good things about them! Thank you Hampton for your great service and also picking great people to work for your company.

Incredible staff that works hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. Sure, the rooms are a little dated, but the air/heat work, the ice is fresh, and the smiles are genuine.

The room was clean and comfortable. What impressed us the most was the staff. From the time we checked in till we checked out,they went above and beyond to assist us. I would like to recommend Joy for employee of the month. She treated us like family and was very helpful. She even assisted me getting our luggage to the front door.

During my stay there with family and friends, I first hand experienced the “BEST” Customer Service “EVER” from a FABULOUS and GORGEOUS Lady by the name of 𝒮𝒽𝒶𝓃𝒹𝒶! She was so genuine. She did her job so well and Beyond, that she made me want to do it. After checking in she gave us a verbal layout of the facility and surrounding areas with Top recommendation of restaurants to eat at. On top of that, just from a simple phone conversation upon arrival, this fabulous woman had treats in our room for all of our likings as if she knew us personally. The hotel may not be the best and up to date to stay at but because of 𝒮𝒽𝒶𝓃𝒹𝒶 it was worth the stay, she made us feel like we were home. She needs to be running her own Hotel, I am sure that it would be sold out EVERY DAY!!

The Staff at this hotel are just about the best we've ever seen. The desk staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. And the cleaning staff are so friendly and outgoing, they treat you like family. Anything you need, all you have to do is ask. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Americus GA area to use this hotel. We had only one complaint and that was some grease in the microwave and it was promptly cleaned. The breakfasts were tasty and there was always plenty of variety. If only we could have this hotel for all our stays, we would stay nowhere else.

I had a wonderful experience here why on a work trip. Shanda was my hotel employee and she was the best!!! She was closing up for the night and offered me cookies and a milk since I had told her earlier in the day that was my favorite right before bed snack! I recommend her and she’s such a sweet lady!

Very friendly staff, rooms are comfortable and TVs are late model HD. Offer wake up calls, and a good continental breakfast.

Always helpful and kind staff to greet you when you arrive. Shanda is the best, she will go out of her way to make sure your stay is great.

This is the best hotel in this city. You can expect a modern clean room, a good breakfast, and lots of friendly staff that make your stay rememberable in a good way. Let's start with Krystal, thank you for making my stay possible. Johnny at the front desk always makes me smile. He has such a great personality. Shanda, I thought she was the hotel manager, she went above and beyond you're amazing & smart! Lastly, Chris I look forward to getting to know you better. All great people that make this hotel the jewel of Americus.

We just checked in however first impression is how sweet the ladies at the front desk are!! They went out of their way going over all of the amenities and just had beautiful smiles on their faces! So far we are very happy!

Andrea's hospitality @ this hotel is above and beyond typical customer service. I was in a really bad car accident that totaled my car & was like a deer in headlights when I was able to check-in after 3am. My clothes were cut off @ the ER & I was left with nothing but oversized practically see through, paper thin scrubs.
Andrea gave me two clean, awesome outfits, in addition to a dress for loungewear for free. This significant act of kindness was extremely uplifting to my spirits & reminded me that good, caring people are still out here.

Great customer service(Thanks Johnny). The hotel took great efforts to ensure safety during these times of a pandemic. The clean stay seal on room doors to let you know it has been cleaned was awesome. Even the remote control is sanitized. There was breakfast served by staff(it was delicious!) Great hotel in a small town. Will definitely stay again on my next visit to GSW.

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They go out of their way to be helpful. Rooms and lobby are clean, and the complimentary breakfast is a plus. There are some fascinating historical sites in the area and we always love visiting and shopping in Plains, the hometown of Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter, whom we greatly admire.

My family and I stayed at this location and was very pleased with the accommodations and the staff. I would like to give a shout out to John for making us feel so welcome. Then the next morning Joyce made sure we had everything we needed when went downstairs to have breakfast. Exceptional, truly exceptional.

The staff is excellent. Customer Service at its best. We were very happy there.
