Totally Running & Walking

I love this store! I emailed late yesterday evening to ask about fittings and Kim responded within two hours, which amazed me. She was so thorough and helpful in her response, so I went in this morning. Unfortunately, Kim wasn't there, but I was happily greeted by Jill and Holly who were both so knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about overall health and safety. They got me on the high tech measuring which was a huge eye opener. You don't need to be a runner to benefit from being fitted! I'm SO happy to know what kind of shoes I need for my step and gait, and what products and insoles I would benefit from. I'm only 29 but preventative measures are so important in your future health! Anyway, Jill and Holly were thorough and talked me through the pros and cons of several of the shoes they have. I never felt pressured to buy one product or up sold, they make sure people know what's best for them. I'm terrible with impulse buying, so I haven't bought my shoes yet, but I hope to return tomorrow and get the Brooks Ghosts! They're awesome 😊

I love this store and their staff! I'm fairly new to running and needed my feet properly sized. They did that for me and I tried on many different shoes to see what I liked best. They had patience and knowledge to help with my selection. I have also run 5ks that this store organizes and have been pleased with the events.

Wonderful experience! Kirsten walked me through purchasing my first set of proper athletic shoes with phenomenal customer care. The shoes are so comfortable and I cannot recommend Totally Running and Walking enough! Thank you Kirsten!

I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a pair of good shoes with a perfect fit. The knowledge, expertise and customer service they provide is top of the line.

I arrived here and both clerks had other customers but I waited and browsed around the store. The wait was not long and was well worth the time. I explained some foot issues I have and they knew exactly what I was talking about and made recommendations about shoes after sizing me on the stand-up machine. The store associate never became hurried or rushed me and allowed me to try on multiple shoes that she recommended. In total, she probably spent thirty minutes with me as I tried each pair of shoes and walked around the store in them before making my selection.

Both of the staff members in the store were friendly and helpful during my visit and I will definitely be returning here for future footwear purchases.

My husband and I went into Totally Running on Saturday- yup during the snow! Alan was there and he took such good care of us! He wasn’t rushing us and he was answering all my questions regarding shoes since I’ve started running again. Even though they were going to close Alan continued to answer my questions and pulled out shoes for me to try. I ended up buying the BEST pair of running shoes! Not only are these helping with my shin splints, Alan happily showed me some stretches that would help as well. While Alan was checking us out, the phone rang. Now there was another associate in the store with Alan but he proceeded to not answer the phone while Alan was with us- Alan being the FANTASTIC helpful person he is, answered the phone. He politely and respectfully answered the questions of the woman on the phone and asked the other associate to check if they had a pair of shoes in her size....His response was “we are closing”....Alan handled that so well and insisted that he checked for the sizes. Once again FANTASTIC! I will continue to go to Totally Running solely because of Alan. If the other associate had “helped” us I can’t say I’d feel the same way. Alan is a true rarity and they are so lucky to have him- he really cares about helping and I’m so happy to have met him.

Please update your website with your new hours. I waited an hour and then found out they were hosting a school event. I just left since how do you expect an employee to focus on finding a new shoe to wear with all the ruckus going on. Anyway, I was hoping to see Kirsten who helped me last time. She was very helpful.

I'm new to running, but I wanted the right equipment. So I went to a real running store. I loved it!
They let the robot measure and analyze my feet. And...it told me things I didn't know. For example, I put more pressure on my left foot. I didn't believe it, so I turned my shoes over and BOOM -- there was more wear on the left. I turned over my walking shoes (I grabbed them for comparison shopping), same thing!
Anyway, I bought I pair of running shoes and absolutely love them. Also bought an expensive water bottle that I used every time I run - it was an impulse buy - but I love the way it clips on my 10 pound weighted vest.
I will buy from them again and would recommend to anyone.

Great shoe and running store. Christina was quite helpful getting me into a new pair that are comfortable. They also carry good tools for muscle and foot support. Bonus...the shoes were less expensive at this store than Amazon.

I recently decided to make the hour and a half drive to see about getting shoes after being recommended by a fellow firefighter at work and I'm glad I did. As soon as we walked in we were greated. We were assisted by Chris who didnt just try to hand us a pair of shoes and run us off. Chris put us in this super cool and high tech machine to scan our foot, he didnt just grab shoes that were recommended but took the time to explain the machine, what he was looking at, what the foot, leg and knees were doing and why it recommends what it does. After getting shoes he grabbed the recommended inserts to see if we liked them and gave us no pressure to buy them, he wanted us to try them with and without to see which is more comfortable and supportive. Once we decided which shoes fit the best and which insoles we ran on the treadmill and he observed at many angles to see how our strides and landings where with the new shoes. He was extremely helpful and I would highly recommend this store to anyone. She was having knee pain over the past few months while running and standing for a long amount of time and since the shoe purchases the pain has went away. We appreciate all the help and will he back! Another impressive thing was after we left we compared the shoe prices from the store to Amazon and they were the same, impressive! Thank you for the recommendations and help!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The price of my shoes was slightly higher than what I found online. They recorded me running on a treadmill to determine what kind of shoes I needed. So far, 100 miles on the shoes and my feet feel awesome in them! I also bought Feetures socks which were on sale.

the totally running and walking team member i spoke with was so knowledgeable and kind! i had no idea what kind of shoe i needed. she was able to look at my foot characteristics and find my perfect shoe. i’ll go back for sure!

I've been going here for various running needs (shoes, hydration belt, fuel, foam rollers, etc) for 4 years now and the staff is very personable and cares about your needs. I am more familiar with the races that this store puts on. They do a wonderful job organizing the race to make sure the experience is amazing.

I had plantar fasciitis for the longest time. I didn’t even know what it was, I just knew my feet were sore and I figured that this was my life now. I went to Totally Running and the helpful staff explained to me why my feet were hurting. They scanned my feet with their machine and showed me where I needed extra support. They were able to recommend which shoes were best for my feet and which inserts would offer me the greatest support. I am now pain free and able to workout without any problems. Thank you so much Totally Running!!!

You won't find a better store for all of your on person running, biking needs!
Very friendly and knowledgable staff with up to date equipment to help improve your stance, angle, foot and back health, etc.
If the don't have what you need the will recommend a place that does.
If you have foot problems, try thos place before spending your money on doctors, xrays and specialists to tell you you need orthopedics made!

Wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable and willing to find the correct shoe for me even if it meant trying on 15 different pair! Left with comfortable shoes and confidence in my purchase. :)

My "runner" friend referred me. The staff used high tech "Stuff" to measure my feet and video me running on a treadmill. THAT told them what kind of shoe my 54 year old feet should have. I picked out the most cushy ones because I am "obese" (really? so the Dr. says) and my regular old everyday shoes were not so comfortable to run in. These Altra shoes are great. The staff said they should last me about 600 miles.... so, the last pair I should ever have to buy! A mile a year and I can go forever!

Spend a lot of time with you and a great knowledgeable staff. Had a good time getting fitted for my new pair of running shoes. The staff had a great sense of humor.

Great local store for a wide selection of running and walking shoes as well as related accessories. Prices were comparable to ordering online and the staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. Would recommend checking this place out.

My go to place for running shoes. Customer service is outstanding. They have specialized equipment to do foot and gait analysis to help choose the right type of shoes.

Great store. Owners and employees are informative, knowledgeable and helpful. Good inventory of shoes and other running needs. Have been shopping here for a few years and have never had a bad experience.
