The sales associate Brook, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, informative and thorough as he walked me through the safe practices, practical use and mechanics of the particular piece. He walked me through the background check and made sure everything was done correctly. I felt very comfortable with my purchase. The manager and employees followed store procedures which made me feel very safe.

I've been shopping at Academy Sports and Outdoors, and it's become my go-to for all things sports and outdoor gear. They have a fantastic selection, great prices, and the staff is always helpful. Plus, their online ordering and curbside pickup options are super convenient. Highly recommend!

Academy is my go to place for any sporting goods need! We moved here from North FL. 4yrs ago. I always check prices online first. Same in Metro Atl as Fl. They have a great in store selection and always, in my opinion, are sharp on prices and help if you need it in store!

We really liked academy sports! They had a large selection of all thr leading brands, a great variety, a large selection of clearance, and their prices were fair(ish). We got everything we needed, and even popped over to the armery, where they had loads of ammo in sale. Will definitely be back!

So everyone here was so nice to my son and I. This one guy that was helping me was running around like a chicken with his head cut off, but he was so nice. The lady at the front gave my son a sticker. Even though I didn't find what I needed, everyone was still very pleasant. I will definitely shop here again.

With a growing son who always needs new shoes their clearance section is perfect for finding soccer shoes and tennis shoes. It is my go to place anytime we need new shoes. The staff has always been super helpful anytime we have visited.
