Having spent my entire career as a First Responder, I chose John because of his prior work providing counseling to the Chicago Fire Department. It was the best choice I could have made! John is a compassionate and caring listener and has a great sense of what you are feeling. He has a calming presence and a wry sense of humor and talks to you like a long-time friend. I highly recommend John for anytime life throws you a curveball and you need that extra push in the right direction. He has helped me immensely and made it much easier to cope.

John is a great therapist who listens well, is very intuitive and gives you the tools you need to make changes in your life. You must do the work, but with his help and guidance you can begin unravel situations that get in your way of being happy. I highly recommend him!

John does a fantastic job of making you at ease. His sense of humor and deep understanding have helped create a space that makes you feel comfortable almost instantly. I would recommend giving him a chance if your looking for a therapist or if you may be unhappy with your current one. He's great!

I have been seeing John off and on for several years. He has helped me tremendously. John gives you various techniques to cope with whatever it is that you are dealing with. Whether it be relationships, loss of a loved one or learning to live life as a happier, more content person. So thankful for his marriage counseling. It took a while for me to stop resisting everything, but John was patient and direct, which we both needed. He taught my husband and I a lot about self suffering (and how to stop), communication and living in the present. Not only was it one of the most significant experiences that saved our marriage it totally helped me be a better person. Indirectly my other relationships improved too. As a therapist I now recommend him to my clients who need additional couples counseling.
