Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa

I had a wonderful stay at this Marriott. Arda, at the front desk, went out if his way to give me a great room with a fantastic view of the ocean and the pool. Brianna, who made my omelets every day at the breakfast buffet, was awesome and friendly and the omelets were delicious! Leslie, Julian and Ricardo provided excellent service at the hotel restaurant and last but not least..Raymond, the hotel manager was exceptional! He was warm and friendly and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of and took care of all my needs. I highly recommend staying here for your next vacation!. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome and of course the beach was awesome. Thanks again!

Nicole who checked us in was so friendly and helpful! We saw her several times during our stay and she was super nice helping with questions about the area! Georgia in restaurant saw super nice as well each time we went in! Overall was a great hotel! My only complaint would be the beds, they aren't the normal Marriott beds that are in most the Marriott Hotels, but service trumped the bad bed so give them 5!

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The check in process was filled with staff with wonderful personality and hospitality. My room had an amazing view and balcony. Colleen checked me in and was absolutely wonderful. I met both a male and female manager who were super down to earth and nice. Gisela helped me at the pool for drinks and food and was very friendly and fast! I will be back to this property again!

We flew in from Arizona to Orlando as we wanted a nonstop flight with Southwest airlines. Our plane arrived at 11:00pm and we drove from the airport in Orlando to Fort Lauderdale to visit our friend. We stayed at the Fort Lauderdale Marriot Pompano Beach Resort and Spa. We arrived after driving for 3 hours at 3:00am. The valet attendant was so welcoming even for being so early in the morning. When we entered Victor the overnight supervisor was absolutely inviting. And definitely made the decision from when I was originally deciding between 2 other places to stay even better with my final decision. We got up to our room and the view was absolutely stunning. It was so worth choosing the location where we were right on the beach. The other 2 locations I was debating between were across the street from the beach. In the morning we had Georgiana as the restaurant supervisor and Monica was our breakfast server. They both had such amazing service. Were making sure everything was good and if we needed anything else. After breakfast we went down to the beach and the umbrella/lounge chair stand attendants were great as well. We were helped within our stay by Danny, Max, and Chris. We rented an umbrella and it was smart they use a tool so that when they put the umbrella in it stays steady even with the wind. William walked by to see if we would need anything while on the beach and I'm glad he did. I understand now the saying drink water and stay hydrated. We were also helped by Maribel the Valet supervisor and Arda the front desk attendant during our stay. Thank you Maribel for going above and beyond to fix our situation. For dinner we had Pierre as our server and he was so sweet as well. Shout out to the valet team Francesco, Lukas, Domingo, and Brontz. Thank you everyone for making our stay so amazing. Now back to Orlando for the last 9 days at Disney/Universal studios/Islands of Adventure of our 2 week birthday vacation before going back home to Arizona.

Outstanding higher end Marriott. Service and ALL staff on the property was friendly and helpful. Amenities were excellent. I had a corner room with two balconies and I highly recommend.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed at!! The staff at the front desk were so nice, we were greeted with smiles for the entire check in and I felt comfortable instantly. My man took me here to celebrate my birthday! You get 2 free water bottles and we got to spin a wheel and got 2 complimentary drinks! We also went to the restaurant/ bar in the hotel and the bartenders were outstanding with their hospitality. Louis who was the best, brought chocolate covered strawberries and champagne w/ orange juice to our room for my birthday. I almost cried!! Frantz, Karim, and 2 others (I didn’t get their names) but they made my entire stay AMAZING!!!!!! We will definitely be back! KEEP IT UP ! Everyone needs this experience!

We had the pleasure of staying at an absolute gorgeous hotel with AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
My sister, myself and my service dog have stayed for 3 days and each day was wonderful.
We have arrived at 3am driving from Orlando and was greeted by Victor at front desk. He was wonderful and got all the info put together and made our stay feel welcoming after a long drive.
We arrived in our hotel on the 7th floor with an ocean view. The room was clean and my sister and I felt at ease coming in and relaxing on two queen size comfortable beds. When waking up and opening the curtain to see the view was BREATHTAKING. Made it worth the price.
We went for breakfast in the morning which was wonderful and got taken care by Monica the first day and was very happy with her service and the food. (Good job cooks!)
We had Georgiana who is the supervisor of restaurant checked in on us to make sure we enjoyed our meal during our stay which was very kind and appreciated.
Every time I went outside to take my dog to the bathroom I would pass the valet men who would always be sweet and kind and say hello and check in on us about the stay. We loved having morning chats with Lukas, Francesco, Domingo and brontz.
We went to the beach and met Danny, Chris and max who were absolutely wonderful when we got an umbrella for my dog to stay shaded on the beach. They went right to work and greeted us every day when going to the beach. It made the stay always feel welcomed every time someone greeted us. We ordered food on the beach and met William who brought us water, drinks and food and was kind and polite and checked up on us throughout. He also became our server for breakfast and outside the rest of our stay.
We were then planning on going out the first night and unfortunately our keys were misplaced but Maribel went straight to work on calling our rental company for extra keys which unfortunately were 3 hours away. Offered us a Uber and she went through the process of calling a locksmith to get us keys for our vehicle and offered us complimentary snacks and took care of valet for all of our stay.
When we were getting our snacks we met Arda who was wonderful on getting us checked out.
We decided to have dinner in the restaurant and was served by peir who took wonderful care and helped me decide between a ratatouille dish or another dish and checked on us through out. We found out from the people sitting behind us told us there was a drone show of 300 drones and what an Amazing way to end the night! Our stay was breakfast in the mornings and days spent at the beach with night walks even included.
We usually do reviews and love when great customer service is still provided. All and all 10 out of 10 customer service and stay! We would love to come back in the future if this is how they provide outstanding service.

Started out a little bumpy, but the service thereafter remedied things in short order. Special thanks to Juan for taking care of everything and making our stay fantastic. Great location. Breakfast was top notch too.

Excellently run hotel, employees happy, fast, friendly and efficient. The location speaks for itself. Rooms were spotless and I haven't eaten a better yoghurt parfait or eaten more perfectly ripe fruit in over 10 Years.
Great stay, highly recommended.

Very nice hotel, 2 pools, 2 bars and restaurants nice view of the Atlantic, you get 2 beach chairs and 2 complimentary cocktails upon arrival but beware there is an upcharge for a nice drink and they threw my drinks away at the pool even with my stuff was there so that was 32 out the window. Beds are a little stiff but the rooms are nice and clean. Drink issues was just a mishap and Not rating down for that. Valet parking isn't an option you have to.

Sales annual meeting. !Great! place for a 200 or less meeting. Amazingly friendly staff. Someone on management has the right values. Thank you for a great venue.

My husband and I arrived at Marriott Pompano Beach on Saturday September 9th 2023. We’ve been coming here for the past three years to celebrate either our anniversary or my birthday. Well last year we had a room that was a complete waste of our trip because we were looking at the side of a building. Two days before we left they were able to move us up so we had a beautiful view of the ocean. So this year I had requested a high floor room and I was going to ask at check in could we be nowhere near that building. Well we arrived to the welcome home smell that is soooo delightful when you walk through those doors. We walk to the front desk and we were greeted by the smiling faces of Jalicia Brooks, Marva Campbell and Juan Velez. Jalicia actually checked us in and she is the front desk manager. She told me that she saw my request of wanting to be on a high floor… I said yes ma’am and I told her I did not want to look at a building either I come to celebrate my birthday and look at the ocean. She said ok no problem Mrs. Dickerson. She took a moment and looked back at her computer she then said Mrs. Dickerson I have a very nice room for you and Mr. Dickerson the only problem is it is on the third floor. I frowned my face up and began to shake my head side to side saying nawwww. She said trust me Mrs. Dickerson you are going to love it. I stood there for a minute contemplating. I looked at my husband and he said it’s up to you. She said trust me I know my stuff… she then said I tell you what if you don’t like it call me back and we will work out something else. I said ok let’s do it. My husband and I headed to the room and opened the door and it was absolutely breathtaking. The view was amazing and panoramic view of the ocean was soooo peaceful. The views of the palm trees and the ocean made it seem like we were on some island in the middle of nowhere. The room was very clean and spacious. My husband and I were both in shock of how beautiful everything was. We enjoyed every single moment of our vacation. Jalicia was also so very sweet to give us breakfast cards so we could enjoy a great breakfast on a day of our choice. This experience is exactly why we will continue to return year after year. Although we’ve came down several years before. This year was completely different. Thanks Jalicia for making my birthday a fantastic one. And yes honey you do know your stuff 😉.

We stayed here for Labor Day weekend, it wasn’t crazy busy and Checkin process was great. They are dog friendly and also in the beach area, not the pool. You get two complimentary beach chairs and you also get bikes for 2 hours.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel mainly for business trip. We had an amazing time, customer service was a top notch. Front desk was very professional, all the service personnel was smiling, and very inviting. The food at the breakfast bar was delicious. The pool attendant was very helpful, and we even had a chance to go to the beach for one hour. We really had a good time, definitely will be coming back.

I have to share my opinion. FANTASTIC HOTEL!!!! We arrived very late, but we were very kindly welcomed, there was a welcome gift waiting for us. The location is fantastic. Area with two swimming pools, a large number of sun loungers, umbrellas and, above all, direct access to the beach!!!! Balcony, two chairs and a table. I really like. Will definitely come back here next time.

I would like to thank the hotel staff, the lady who cleaned the room after we left and the front desk lady Alicia . After leaving the room, it turned out that we left some things in the room. Imagine my great surprise when after landing I turned on my phone and got a message from Alicia. I am very grateful for your help and professional customer service. Again thank you very much !

I would like to share a memorable experience during my stay at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort.  I had one of my best hospitality experiences and owe it all to the front desk manager Ms. Brooks. Ms. Brooks is a great asset for this hotel and she definitely knows every detail to make your stay unforgettable.

I contacted Ms. Brooks to let her know that I was celebrating my 26th-year wedding anniversary with my wife. I was amazed that I had a spectacular room with a nice ocean and pool view. Secondly to my surprise, I received an amenity from her and her staff to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Ms. Brooks from the beginning to the end of my stay made sure that my celebration was memorable, enjoyable, and exquisite.

Sheila the pool attendant was extremely friendly, helpful, and always with a smile every time we went to the pool.

Emma at the front desk was pleasant during my check-out procedure and helped me with my luggage. Overall the service was impeccable, top-notch, and of course memorable with the help of Ms. Brooks.

This place is awesome, Shateek is your go to guy when checking in, and during your entire stay. Shateek along with the entire staff will go out of their way to make sure that everything is well taken care of, and will by far exceeded your expectations. From the minute you walk through the door they treat you feel like family. They have hired an amazing staff both at the front desk and restaurant and throughout the entire hotel. Room service will keep your room spotless. They also offer a gym on the third floor. As far as stuff to do on the beach, they offer chair and umbrella, as well as JetSki rentals. As far as the beach is concerned the sun will definitely do its job, the sand is extremely hot, and the water is pleasantly warm. The two pools go from like 2 to 6 feet of water. Plenty to do around the neighborhood, and is a short ride to Miami Beach where there is plenty to keep you busy.

Surprised at how lovely this place was only because sometimes beach hotels can be “used and abused”. We loved it. Stayed one night and hope to return. We paid $237 total plus $34 to valet.

Perfect location for exploring and scuba diving. E-Force dive shop around the corner and boat docks for diving down the street. Plenty of restaurants to try out. Breakfast onsite is good and Starbucks coffee if yah need it. Pool out back with direct access to private beach. Beautiful spot.
