Extremely pleasant to work with. They had a modest but varied range of materials and price points and a very wide range of colors for kurtas, with silk ensembles available at a reasonable price. If you’re male, a kurta suit will generally be what you need to attend an Indian wedding.

The owner patiently encouraged me to try on as many ensembles as I wished and helped me put on each one, making this the best service I’ve received at a clothing store in years.

Romi was an absolute delight to work with. His selection was wonderful and he was able to help me with my first ever purchase of a lehenga. Plus he does alterations there! Would recommend his shop to anyone in the Pittsburgh area! Can’t wait to wear my new lehengas at a wedding in January.

Not only is everything in the store absolutely gorgeous, but the owner is such a sweet, kind, and caring man. I went with my friend to shop for sarees for her wedding in India and he took measurements, offered guidance, and altered the material very quickly and efficiently. I have not had a better experience at a clothing shop.

The saree and other clothing I bought are simply stunning and I cannot wait to celebrate with my friend while wearing his designs. I had to travel back home and the owner was able to accommodate my order and ship the next day. When I received my package, he even included gifted earrings and a necklace and wrote a note to enjoy my trip. I could not have asked for a better experience and I will definitely be back!

I recently shopped at Shingar and it was an amazing experience. I’ve not seen a store in here with this much collection. The price is is decent and the owner is very helpful. My wife got her blouse stitched as well and he did it perfectly the first time at a decent price. Both the customer service and collection were great and will definitely come back.

Very nice selection of Eastern Clothing. Some like to say the clothes is expensive but if you going to the Temple: you should dress nice. I buy my dhoti's, sari's and other clothing here all the time. So don't be rascal: Dress nice for Krsna. Come to Shingar, Hare Krsna 🙏

I went there today with my sister to prepare for a wedding in India! Absolutely great experience in every sense of the word! We were blown away by the great selection & his patience!

Romi altered a lehenga and saree that I needed for a wedding. His handiwork is excellent and he was very kind and patient to work with. He also took the time to explain how to wear the gowns, which I greatly appreciated!

My hubby and I stopped by here for the first time after having lunch nextdoor at Udupi. The owner, Romi, was very friendly and we had a nice talk with him. I got some bangles and will definitely be back one day for any Indian fashion needs. If you need any bangles, sarees, punjabi suits or mens Indian clothing, it's there. Also some really beautiful deity paintings and artwork as well.

The owner was really helpful while we were in the shop and everything was beautiful. There’s a good variety of clothes and jewelry and prices are reasonable too.

The owner of the store (Romi) is amazing and very helpful. They have the best collection of Indian clothes in the whole Pennsylvania. I have been to a lot of Indian stores nationwide but I found it the best of them all. If you're not shopping here then you're not wearing the best Indian dress in USA.
