Cherry Street Diner

Cherry Street Diner was a very pleasant surprise as I was passing through town. This is an excellent, multi-generation family diner. My omelet was great and their home fries were outstanding. The menu is very straightforward in a good way. Fun fact: the salad bar was fully stocked at 9:50 am 🤷🏻

We've been in twice recently. Both times I've opted for a breakfast meal. The most recent visit I got the French toast. It is seriously some of the best traditional French toast I've had. Its simple, but perfect. The waitress is incredibly friendly as well.

We enjoyed our nostalgic visit and chat with Miss Courtney, she is going places in little ole Ashville, we are excited to see her visions come to fruition!

Nice sweet place friendly staff and quick to get our food we went around 9:40 in the morning our waiter was really friendly and food is decently priced definitely coming back

We have been looking for locally owned restaurants in out area. We found this little gem. It's a little diner only open 6 to 2 during the week. Weekends 7 to 1. The waitress was wonderful. The food was great. The sausage gravy was pan made. I knew this was a good little place when teenage boys came in instead of walking down the street to McDonald's. Actually the restaurant is cheaper than McDonald's.

Visited from UK was made to feel very welcome from the server didn't catch the ladies name but she is the owners grand daughter. Very nice person even gave us a penny as a momento. Grandma makes the best burger I've ever had and wonderful pancakes. Love from England see you again in 2 years

We love to visit little diners. This is a cute little restaurant with friendly staff. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again.

Our small town spot we go to every weekend. Burgers and fries, fried tenderloin, and breakfast are great. French toast is amazing. I'm not a huge fan of their sausage gravy but everything else is spot on

Greeted like an old friend... had a great conversation with the waitress and the owner (?), as well as other customers. I loved it. And the food, of course. Western omelet with home fries. Yum!!
I highly recommend visiting this local small business and showing support. You won't be disappointed!

The food was delicious and service was fantastic!! I love mom and pop diners way more than chain restaurants. They have fun decor and a really cool train that runs on a track hanging from the ceiling!! I'll be taking my nephews here when they visit:)
