Comfort Suites

I recently spent 3 nights at this Comfort Inn. I was a bit concerned by the location, but once inside everything was great. It's fairly standard, with a nicer-than-normal lobby. The room was spacious and clean. I had no problems while there.

I did not take advantage of any of the hotels amenities outside of the room, so can't speak to those.

It would be nice to see the locks updated so that key cards are no longer required, but that's a minor inconvenience and doesn't impact my rating.

Also, I will add that this might not be the best option if attending an event at the Expo center. It's extremely close, but 17th Ave gets closed down for events which complicates the process of getting to the Expo center (unless you walk the approximately 1/2 mile). It was a breeze getting back to the hotel after the event, though.

This is the best two star hotel I've ever stayed in! Clean, friendly, good amenities such as an easy way to fill your water bottle. My only complaints - the beds are a bit soft, and the breakfast is poor quality. But hey, what should you expect for a two star rated hotel. Overall I was very impressed and will choose Comfort Suites again for an easy overnight.

Great for a quick overnight stay off the interstate. Definitely recommend when on the road.

We stayed here for the battle of Columbus for the first weekend of March. Plenty of room and our king suite. With a kitchenette. The rooms have been updated and we felt comfortable and safe. A good size poor at a decent fitness room. A very large dining room area for a great breakfast. A three minute walk to the Ohio State fairgrounds, and there is a McDonald's along the way. Save money on parking. If you're going to the state fair or an event held there. This hotel will be my go to place every time I come to Columbus.

The woman at the front desk was the absolute sweetest. The room was clean and I have very little bad to say because everything was perfect.

The bathtub was very tiny, and they advertise that this hotel is a lot closer to anything than it actually is. The road to drive into the hotel was sketchy and very littered and dirty. Also the vending machines are out of order so you have to order from the front desk and they were out of a few things.

I wasn't even aware they had a pool but that was a nice perk as well had I been prepared to use it. Overall had an excellent stay!

This was the 2nd or 3rd time we have stayed here. Front desk lady was so sweet and easy to work with. The room was plenty big enough. Bathroom was huge. We were able to bring our own food and cook with the microwave. We love this hotel.

Stayed here for the Ohio State Fair. Easy walking distance to gate. Was able to get early check-in. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Hot breakfast.

Came in from out of town to compete in a weightlifting competition at the Celest Center right across the street. This is an old hotel that is cared for very well. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is A+. Very courteous and helpful. Reasonable rates. Close to a very hip part of town with plenty to do, day or night.

Outside parking was accessible and clean and felt safe. Lobby was nicely decorated and also clean. Check in was easy and the hostess was friendly, efficient, and polite. My room was clean and spacious. They had a couple of bottles of water some cookies and some peppermint patties on the desk which was a nice treat. The free hot breakfast was plentiful and everything tasted good. Was way more than you would expect for free. The hotel was quiet too. Pool looked well kept but I didnt actually swim so I have no idea what that was like. No issues. The location looked like it might not be in a nice area but it was quick to hop on highway and the area seemed safe.

Nice clean rooms. Very close to interstate!! Had 4 pillows per bed. Wifi worked well! Didn't see any bugs. Bathroom was clean for us. I personally just wish all hotel served breakfast till 10. I just normally don't get up early. (McDonald's next door.) The pool looked great but just didn't have time to enjoy it. Vending machines.

So if u are me you would understand better why I put what I do up so that others can see what IB putting up how they say to Choice Hotel and be able to bring your service but an employee told choice I had to check out at 11:00 with my service dogs that do have ID to be in a public place with their Handler AKA that would be me and I do not understand why they keep on proceeding that they can do whatever they want and break my rights refuse of me able to stay and try to charge me $500 for one night I'm not an out of town or out of state I'm in town and you would think I would pay cheaper now no one has been respecting my rights or the police

The whole property smelled great! You might think, doesn't location or comfortable beds or extra perks make for a good hotel stay? I would answer, yes, yes they do. BUT....I have stayed in some fairly nice places with nicer amenities and I gotta tell you, smell matters. I myself wouldn't have believed it until I stayed here and experienced how a pleasant, but not overpowering, non-chemical smell can improve the whole experience. To sum up .... Free face painting for the kids, out.... Fresh scent..way way in.

Great Hotel! This hotel is located very close to the Interstate! The hotel is located not in the best neighborhood but don’t let that make you think this is a bad hotel because it’s not. The hotel rooms have many great amenities including the fact that all rooms are suites, therefor they have comfortable beds and a couch that turns into a sofa bed, microwave, mini fridge, toiletries and more! The hotel has great amenities too including indoor pool, business center, exercise center and breakfast which had waffles, bacon, cereals and more! This is a great hotel!

The location was perfect. It's right after the I-71 E and is near to great Columbus conventional center. The room is very good and. The service is amazing. It also has a breakfast and pool that's an added benefit so you don't need to worry for breakfast next morning. There are also lot of difference cuisines near to it if you want to roam around.

We absolutely loved our stay here! I travel quite often and I’m beyond happy we chose this hotel. Very clean, pillows were awesome and the staff was so kind! I will be staying here again when I’m in this area. The price was incredible for the comfort and excellent service we experienced at this hotel. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Great room, softest beds ever, fluffy pillows, extremely clean. Nice staff, the breakfast was nice. Rates were great!! Wish we could of stayed longer!! They offer a survey and if you take it you can get 10% thr next night stay!!

This is a nice place to stay. The staff is helpful & polite. Rooms are spacious and clean. It was in a very good location for what I needed to do.

We was there this past Saturday ans I will recommend this hotel …I love this location / the service the breakfast Spanish guy gave us everything was great/ the pool right temperature super clean / room smelled super clean / me and my son will be coming back soon thank you to the front desk lady she was wonderful thank you again

Hands down the best part was the pool. It was super warm. We loved it. The beds were super comfortable and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was alright. It was close to the convention center and right behind a McDonald's, which was convenient. Overall it was great value for the money spent.

Great place for the price!
Pros- pool, good price, decent breakfast (Except bacon), felt safe, clean rooms, nice front desk staff. Also McDonald's next door.
Cons- slightly off the beaten path. Close to highway but not much in walking distance. Charged my card twice but said they would take care of it within a day or two.

Great stay . Would stay again.
