We had a wedding there. Our son was married. A beautiful place nestled in the Mohican state park.

The shelter house is a great place for an outdoor party, picnic, or family get together.

You do need to make a reservation ahead of time, but lots of space here. There are several picnic tables and two wood-burning fireplaces (one on each end).

A short trail leads from the shelter house to the covered bridge--great area for hiking, camping, tubing, and more.

Terrific Shelter for Cookouts and Family Get Togethers! Rangers come around just enough to make sure destructive individuals are kept in check. Park is renovating and the local Mohican Trails Club has done a fantastic job in fixing and improving the area, as well. Ohio Park funds well spent. Thank you Ohio!
