This is the kinda place where the food speaks for itself, because the restaurant isnt doing much speaking.

The place is extremely unassuming, not decorated much, not the cleanest. The vibes are the opposite of immaculate, but that's okay. I've been to enough small asian restaurants to know it doesn't truly matter.

Whatever misgivings i might've had about this place disappeared immediately when I had a bite of the beef in my beef noodle soup. I opted to order off the non-english menu, thanks to Google translate. That beef was so flavorful, so tender, i felt myself ascend. They weren't afraid to give me the 'less desirable' pieces of meat that a standard american wouldn't eat, but I loved. Cant tell if its because i ordered off the non-english menu or if its just me being Asian. Noodles were chewy and VERY plentiful. I got non-spicy but took a little bit of chili oil since I'm a weenie.

My partner went with the Dan Dan noodles, which were delicious. Very flavorful, probably the most complex Dan Dan noodes I've ever tried (that's a compliment.) Not spicy enough for my partner's taste so they got some chili oil.

We spent $24 (including tip) for a monstrous amount of food, so very affordable. Guy taking our order spoke mandarin, english, and spanish, which us just awesome.

I was searching for Chinese BBQ when I stumbled upon this spot. I thought I was ordering Chinese fast food, but I was wrong. It's run by a Chinese family. The most expensive item on the menu is $12.95.

Let me start off with the server isn't rude. There's a language barrier, and she's VERY direct. Understand this if it's your first time visiting.

There are 2 menus here, American and Chinese. They're both written in English. The Chinese menu is for people interested in trying something new.

I ordered the beef noodles soup. It's Northern Chinese style, which means it's GOOD!!!I had the option of spicy or non-spicy. I go big or I go home so I ordered the spicy. That hurt. They make this on the SPICY side. It wasn't inedible, but be prepared to sweat. The soup is packed with beef flavor. The noodles maintain a good consistency of tenderness. The beef cubes are marinated to the core and fork tender. They're delightful to eat.

I tried to order something else, but I'm full. My total bill for the noodles, a Pepsi, and hot tea was under $15. It's definitely a cheap eats spot.

A Hidden Gem for Chinese Cuisine - Lotus Grill

I recently ordered the Beef with Broccoli and was impressed with the generous portion of tender, juicy beef and perfectly cooked broccoli. The flavors were well-balanced and not too greasy, and the dish was a great value for the price.

One thing that really stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients. The broccoli was fresh and crunchy, and it was clear that the dish was made with care. I also appreciated the fact that the owner i assume was accommodating to my request to substitute noodles on the dan dan dish. His multilingual skills in Spanish, English, and Chinese added to the welcoming atmosphere.

Overall, Lotus Grill is a hidden gem that delivers tasty, authentic Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Conveniently placed. Counter service. Dine in or take out. Plenty of tables with chairs or booths. The pan-fried dumplings, General Tso's chicken, and vegetable lo mein all tasty. See photos.

Small family owned Chinese spot ran by some of the nicest and wholesome people I've had the pleasure of meeting. It is a small hole in the wall but appearances can be deceiving. They make the best dan dan noodles you'll find outside Chengdu. I also ordered the sichuan beef and hot pepper chicken and they were very tasty as well. Nothing on the menu is priced above $6.95 making this a very affordable spot to go eat. I'll definitely return to support this local business the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!!

Never tried the American menu, but the Chinese menu is so good and the price is the cheapest I’ve encountered in Columbus for Chinese food. This is a great place for some fast Chinese food. Not fine dining or full service dining.

Excuse the picture it was so good I almost didn’t take a pic, but this is hands down my new favorite little Chineses food restaurant, good service, quick and very flavorful food! We ordered the spicy pepper chicken and pepper steak.

First time here and I got the Hung Kong Rice no pork add broccoli. Everything was seasoned to perfection and tender.

This place serves absolutely delicious Chinese food. They also have a Chinese menu for something a bit more authentic. The twice cooked pork and the house tofu are my favorite. Great place!

This is a hidden gem - the food is great, the portions are generous, and the value is excellent. The staff and their service is a bonus - definitely give this place a try - it rivals any restaurant serving this genre of food that I have tried in greater Columbus.

First time here, definitely not the last! Delicious food, and service was extremely fast! Perfect meal right before our movie. And super cheap, especially for the quantity of food!

1 year later since my first visit and it still so amazing! Not a great, "fancy" place by any means, but food is outstanding and younger dude is great always has a lot of humor to share every visit.

Wonderful family owned and operated restaurant. You will enjoy masterfully prepared meals. Quick ordering via phone (calls accepted until 8pm), or in person. Very takeout-friendly, large portions, low cost, delicious food. Chefs are delighted to make custom orders for dietary restrictions.

The low foot traffic of Marcus Theaters next door has certainly changed things I’m sure.
I hope Lotus Grill stays open for many years to come.

Great small authentic Chinese restaurant tucked away in Crosswoods. The portions and price are amazing. They can make the food very spicy too. Very fast To go ordering also. Knew somone locally who moved far away and Lotus Grill Chinese food was all they could think about. Highly recommend.

I only just found this wonderful little understated restaurant parked off the beaten path at the back portion of the Crossroads shopping center. I was surprisingly delighted with my order of Sichuan Kung Pao chicken and egg roll. This owner certainly knows how to cook with salt, MSG restraint, the chicken was tender, vegetables were properly cut, and heat was beautiful, not too hot, not too bland. And the egg roll, which I rarely order, was so crispy without being overly thick or grease laden. VERY NICE Place. I highly recommend. ;-)

Overall Lotus Grill was excellent. We ordered four different dishes and there wasn’t a single one that failed to meet our expectations. The owners are very nice but a little hard to understand. If you go, ask for the “secret” Chinese menu if you want something more authentic.

Food was outstanding and the table service good despite it being a store front that does a lot of carry out. Lots of Chinese people eating here which gave me a positive vibe when we entered. Very casual, but real plates and flatware, no foam or plastic here! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Perfect for a delicious, quick meal after a very long day at the zoo! Thank you!!
