First time getting into western boots!
Walked in the store not knowing what to expect. I was not disappointed though. It may be a small store but they've got a GREAT selection. 2 members of their staff walled me through everything and made sure I found the boots that fit perfect. I'll be back!

Flew in from Texas for a wedding but forgot my bolo tie. Go West! was the only place on the island that had them and I was blown away with their selection! Both employees were very friendly and I will definitely be coming back next time I'm on the island. Would give 6 stars if I could.

This is one of the few, if not the only, place on Long Island for Western boots and apparel. This long time customer that has purchased boots, hats, jeans, accessories and even a bunch of Justin socks (that don't wear out!). Just went back the other day and scored another pair of boots at their sale. Ellen, the owner, has a very interesting variety of quality merchandise. Lisa, Linda and Marcy are the the best employees and never fail to make you feel welcome and appreciated. I'll always be a happy repeat customer! On the left in the photo is my first pair purchased here, years ago. Super comfortable (they have been resoled and re-heeled 3 times) and a more recent acquisition. They all fit and feel great!. Been going here forever...best selection of boots, hats, western gear...I'm not a big fan of Western music, but I have a "thing" for western boots & hats. Over the years, have at least 5 pairs I bought here as well as a couple of hats. Super super nice staff, helpful and accommodating. Good prices, unique items. Out of the box goodness!!

Went in here after seeing enough photos on FB/IG to know I had to check it out. Never wore cowboy boots in my life, but love these!! Amazing, huge selection for women, men and kids as well. Owner, Ellen, is very helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. I ended up buying 2 pairs because 1 was on sale with a big markdown and the other ones I just couldn't resist and priced very fair. Def coming back and buying some for Christmas presents, (for others and myself again as well!) Thanks for helping me find some pairs that were just a perfect fit for me! The hats, shirts and other items were awesome as well. Love this place!!

Fantastic service! Even though the store was hopping, Ellen who was the only one working made sure everyone was taken care of. I walked away with 2 pairs of perfect fitting boots! This is THE place to go to make sure you get the best boot to partner with any style you wear.

My family has been in the horse world for a long, long time. This store brings back memories and has excellent boots, and apparel. Go West is better then any store I have been in for a very long time. Excellent staff and very knowledgeable. Everyone is very friendly and myself and my son have purchased many boots and hats from here. I recommend everyone to stop in here, I guarantee you will buy something and go back many times. Cannot say enough about this store and their staff. If they do not have your size they are willing to order anything your want, if they can. GREAT atmosphere, relaxing and friendly. Cannot wait to go back and get my 3rd pair of boots and another hat. My son, Travis, has 4 hats from there and a pair of boots and intends to go back and get another pair.

The lady's that worked there were EXTREMELY helpful and very friendly. I enjoyed the country music played there and the warm welcoming atmosphere. There were a variety of cowboy hats to choose from and I didn't feel like leaving. Great store!!! I definitely plan on going back soon

The staff is super knowledgeable and kind. The selection of the inventory is large and if they don’t have some you need they’ll order it for you no problem! And they have an awesome pup Jackson to greet you at the door!!!

2nd time back and was happy to be helped by a guy named wally I believe.. great sense of humor and professionalism.. he found the right boot and also stretched them for me. cant wait to come back.
