My teenage son stumbled on Shane’s place searching for a 6cyl Charger. Lo and behold we found the last tru gentleman in the used car business. A week later we were driving home in a 2007 R/T Charger. 2 Local owner car it was a 16 year olds dream come true. GREAT CAR GREAT PRICE GREAT SERVICE. We live 35 minutes West and it can be a hassle to get rides etc. Take the train we will scoop you up! Thanks to Shane and the guys in the back you don’t see. There were a few small things that I wanted addressed prior to delivery. I mentioned them to Shane, “you got it the guys will take care of it on inspection.” They even rectified a small thing I missed. Shane took care of me the whole time. He allowed me to take the car for a test drive by myself. I felt comfortable versus the other dealerships where I was closely monitored by a guy in the passenger seat who wouldn’t allow me really drive the car the way I wanted to. The car is great. The customer service was great and the place is clean. I definitely recommend.

Bought from Shane and the guys at Performance Auto in October of 2023. Used cars can often be a trap of hidden issues and neglect upon purchase. When I bought my 2014 Sentra (reasonably priced with good mileage), a test drive didn’t raise any flags, and so we proceeded with the purchase with no reservations. Murphy’s law kicked in after the sale and it seemed like every light on the dash just wanted to light up. They were under no obligation to service the many minor issues that popped up, but Shane was always understanding and went out of his way to take care of it, no extra charge. I appreciated his honesty and his determination to prioritize peace of mind for people who bought from him. He was always transparent and straightforward, and that’s about as much as you can ask for in a car salesman.

We purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Shane at Performance Auto in July 2023. The price for the vehicle was offered below the Kelly Blue Book recommended price but best of all there were no hidden fees (no extra prep or dealer fees, etc.) , the price advertised was the price you pay. Every other used dealership we went to had hidden fees totaling thousands of dollars. We were skeptical of buying a car that is 10 years old but the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and any needed repairs were made prior to the purchase. I highly recommend Shane and Performance Auto for anyone looking for a fair price on quality used vehicles.

Very good experience buying my very first car!! My salesman Shane was super friendly and made the process extremely easy. Within the first couple of weeks, I did spot some issues like a nail in a tire and the check engine light turning on. However, they gladly took my car back and continued to work on it for quite some time until it was perfect!! Shane provided arguably the most pleasant purchase experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I was coming from out of state for a specific manual-spec car. He was patient to text back and forth with me over a week, and to work with a family member who lived near by to preview for me. After I felt comfortable we negotiated a very fair price and he took a deposit over the phone. When I arrived the car and paperwork were all waiting for me, the car was in the showroom and looked brand new. Shane is unassuming and trustworthy- 5 stars!

I purchased two cars from Shane, he and the other employees are very nice, knowledgeable and go out of their way to help. I had a few issues after my 30 day warranty through performance was up and they still went out of their way to help me. I never felt pressured or rushed as they definitely wanted the best car for me no matter where I got it

I had the best experience buying my first car at Performance Auto (and I'm in my 30s...). Shane was patient, kind, helpful and was phenomenally service-oriented. They went out of their way to provide great service (ie picking me up from the train, answering all of my questions, taking the car to the manufacturer to have the recalls closed out, etc), and were phenomenally easy to work with.

Their pricing was transparent - they do not charge any of the hidden fees that other used car dealers typically surprise you with - and negotiating with them was fair and fact based.

Shane Tierney should be the standard by which all salespeople are measured. He was genuine, open, knowledgeable and honestly friendly. He was very respectful in his dealings with my wife over the phone and as she asked questions about the Jeep she was looking at on her computer.
At the lot there was no sales pitch, just honest talk about precisely the vehicle in which she was interested. The Jeep was in even better condition than the photos and posting showed. Shane showed us the Carfax without our needing to ask; and believe me, I was going to ask.
We also spoke with their mechanic, Joe - another guy they need to hang on to - about the vehicle. Directly after the test drive we purchased the truck that night.
I would, without hesitation, recommend Performance Auto to anyone looking for a straight deal on a solid vehicle. We are each very pleased with both the vehicle and our interactions with the folks at Performance Auto.

This was my second vehicle purchase from Performance in the last 6 years and I had a repeat in exceptional service. Shane was great and patient during my decision process. I had a few repairs that was needed on the Jeep and Shane fixed them all...people you are purchasing a used car and at times will have unexpected issues. Shane gave exceptional service and had the knowledge of Jeeps that made me comfortable in working with him. My Grand Cherokee is awesome and I would purchase another Jeep or refer any of my friends to Shane.
