Tellers: An American Chophouse

Flawless experience here. We called ahead to reserve a table, and they asked if it was for a special occasion. We told them it was our anniversary. When we got there, not only did they wish us a happy anniversary, they left a sweet note on our table congratulating us and thanking us for spending our anniversary there. Throughout the night the service was great, the food was top notch and the dessert was incredible. They even gave us complimentary drinks for our anniversary which was rather nice of them. Overall, the atmosphere was very warm and inviting, the employees were all very kind and friendly and I felt very satisfied leaving there. I can't recommend this place enough. Definitely THE place to have a fancy dining experience.

Made reservations. Went on a Friday evening with hubs. The atmosphere is very nice, lights and high ceilings. The drinks are amazing, strong and tasty. I ordered the lemon martini; so good! Service was good. I ordered the cowgirl ribeye rare; they actually cooked it rare, perfection! Overall for two people it was $400. It’s worth visiting on special occasions! It was a very pleasant dining experience.

Hands down the BEST restaurant on Long Island. I had my 26th birthday at Tellers last night and had the best experience. The food... THE FOOD... was immaculate. Everything we ordered was beyond delicious. I had the beef wellington , iceberg wedge, shrimp cocktail, bacon, creme brûlée and the sides of tater tots, broccoli and mac n cheese. The "tater tots" were these phenomenal potato croquettes that totally blew us out of the water! Anyways ... I'm a huge fan now and just so happy with our dinner choice. I also had their cosmo and it was soooooo good. Totally recommend checking this spot out. They even gave me a free dessert and a gift card for my birthday which is never expected but always appreciated! That's such a sweet gesture they do to make their guests feel seen and appreciated. So awesome. Thank you so much.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. You want to come back again with our family so they can enjoy it too. We were even talking about how this would be a great place for our wedding reception. Everything was wonderful from the food to the service. Thank you all for giving us a great time on our special day!

The food was delicious! The staff was all friendly and welcoming. I felt at home here. I'll definitely come back for my next big event. I got the rack of lamb, and the creamed spinach. They were both delicious and cooked perfectly. My fiancè got the cowgirl ribeye and the duck fat fries. I tried both his steak and fries and they were also delicious. Absolutely no complaints here. If yoh're thinking of going, stop thinking! Just go :)

Tellers is always a great choice for lunch or dinner. The Parmesan crusted petite filet mignon was outstanding, the burger was as well. My favorite will always be the mac & cheese, which is delicious. Our server, Luke was outstanding, another great meal by Executive Chef, Tom Haferkamp, and his crew. If you’re looking for a great chophouse with a nice vibe….this is the place.

Tellers is my favorite restaurant, so naturally , I chose it as a venue for my sister's bridal shower. We opted for "The Parlor", an intimate space with beautiful windows, tall ceilings, a private bar, and a second floor bridal suite, which was a perfect area for the bride-to-be to utilize. I knew the day I walked this space that this was the venue.

This event would not have been possible without the exceptional assistance of Lisa Esposito. She is attentive, hardworking, and made the day seamless.

From our first meeting, Lisa treated me like family. Her perfectionism was exactly what I needed for this event. She was always available, and offered valuable opinions. Lisa made sure that everything I wanted to include in the space would be accommodated with perfection. Without her, the event would not have been successful.

I cannot thank Lisa and the staff at Tellers enough. Tellers consistently goes above and beyond, with exceptional food and service that always brings a smile to my face. And the reason I continue to go back.

I can't say enough. This place is top notch. I was celebrating my 20 anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special.

I took my wife to Tellers for her birthday and I've never been more impressed. The food, the ambiance, the service - every aspect of this restaurant is pristine. Our server for the evening, Kyle, was an absolute pleasure as well.

I cannot wait to attend in the future.

Tellers Chophouse is an outstanding steak house. Great ambiance and atmosphere for the whole family. Highly recommend if you want great steak and all the sides!

In Islip Tellers opens at Noon. A beautiful restaurant that in 1929 was a bank. 24 years ago it was changed after Chase moved. They have a fire place in back. Upstairs dining and wine volts for purchase. Our server has been there 22 years. I felt Regal. Lunch special 24.00 has appetizer and entree. They also have menu for desserts including a real Root beer float. A definite place to go to have a meal, a meeting or an occasion.

Came for my fiancé's birthday dinner tonight.
The service was amazing. The food was phenomenal. They treated us so well and went above and beyond for his birthday, even gave him a special treat on them.
Intimate and moody atmosphere, very lovely place to dine.
Will be back for future dinners and events!!!!

We love Tellers. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the servers and staff are wonderful. They go above and beyond to make sure that everything is delightful, and that you feel like warm and welcomed guests. Much of the staff has been there for many years, which adds to the ambiance of the restaurant; it is enjoyable to be in a space where the people working hard to make it an amazing experience seem to enjoy it, and are treated well enough to want to stay. Every time we go, we walk away too full and very happy. We’re grateful for them.

I have been coming here since 2012. This is my go-to place for the best steak. My favorite steak is cowgirl ribeye with their famous macaroni and cheese and burnt broccoli. You won’t be disappointed!!!!! Oh and make sure to order the potato bread with truffle butter and duck fat fries as an appetizer.

Always a good meal here! We stopped in for their anniversary week special and sat at the bar. Bartenders are always friendly and make some excellent drinks. We love the Babylon express, h2o martini and tellers old fashioned. We enjoyed the tellers delmonico for dinner, along with appetizers and dessert. A great deal for sure and we’ll always be back!

Background: made a last minute reservation for a Friday night and got in early. This was on our list of places to visit and very happy we did.

Atmosphere: lovely main building. We ended up sitting upstairs next to a room set for a private party of 18 or 20, we were in a fairly private room for most of our meal. Everything was nice for a fancy meal.

Food: husband ordered the NY strip (dry aged) and I had the beef wellington. We started with calamari and had sides of brussel sprouts and tater tots. They were definitely more like rouns croquettes than traditional cafeteria tater tots but were delicious. Would recommend! Dessert was a shared creme brulee, no complaints.

Service: our waiter Carlos was the perfect blend of attentive and helpful. He recommended drinks when we ordered (Tellers cosmo instead of a traditional-it was better than a traditional one!). He was always a few steps away so a simple head not would call him over. He checked on us a few times.

Would I go back: 100% husband came home and was looking at the menu for what he'd wanna order next time. Would recommend it. Looking forward to going back!

Been here twice now and let me say: WOW. Incredible food, spectacular service; highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a breathtaking dining experience! Drinks, apps, steaks, desserts; 10/10 all around!

I visited Teller's to celebrate my birthday and what a great first impression. The food was very tasty, the service was exceptional and the lounge side of the restaurant is very moody and romantic. I can't remember the waiter's name but he was on point. Can't wait to visit again!

Wife made reservations for my birthday. Everything was top shelf. Staff was above and beyond. Hands down the greatest steak I've ever had. Will definitely be returning.
