Econo Lodge Times Square

Listen the room is small but it’s right next to Times Square and it’s the cheapest option in the area. If you’re expecting a large room this isn’t the place for you, go spend the extra money somewhere else. We came for the holidays and it was the cheapest option in a 10 MILE RADIUS

This is a crash pad, but it’s comfy and it’s CLEAN. The staff is pretty nice and refrigerators are available upon request (we got one at check-in).

We read the reviews here and checked in around 9pm and it was smooth. The elevator is slow, but it’s an old building so it’s to be expected. The bar across the street is pretty good, and there’s some amazing Japanese/dim sum places nearby as well that are open late.

Some of the reviews here smh. If you expected the Hilton, go pay Hilton prices.

Me and my wife stayed at Econolodge Times Square while I was visiting New York. The hotel itself was not great but it was clean. It felt unsafe as there was no security guard around with all sorts of crazy/drunk people walking into the lobby. The one defining part of the hotel was an employee who was very kind and helpful. Her name is Pamela and she did her job excellently by being informative and responsive to any issues I had with the hotel. The gentlemen who does maitenance there was also a very helpful man and they both made my stay worry free. A big thank you to them both for making my stay memorable. These two encourage me to return to the hotel on my next visit.

Front desk girls are amazing! They are so helpful, friendly and make you feel as comfortable as possible. I checked out and check in a hundred times and they happily assisted me. The rooms are small but have everything you need, they are clean and cozy. I spent 2 weeks there and I don’t have any complaints.

I enjoyed my stay here even though the room was quite small. It IS New York so I was expecting a smaller room. They have a small, quick breakfast, and the staff was MORE than pleasant and helpful! The location can’t be beat for the price! I highly recommend this hotel for all out of town visitors that want to enjoy themselves without going broke!

I have done a lot of budget travel and this is one of the nicest hotels for the price we paid. The rooms are modest, but very clean and you cannot beat the location. Just outisde of times square in the perfect location to adventure out and come back to a comfortable bed. The night manager, Willy, is so helpful and friendly and really added a cherry on top of a wonderful experience. I will definitely be staying here again!

I didn't actually love it but I gave it 5 stars cause it didn't break the bank. The staff service was good, the location we fantastic. Hotel was old and small but we didn't spend any time there at all anyway. They held our bags complimentary before checking in to see the sites and after checking out as well. Good visit

This hotel is small, but you get what you pay for, and we saved so much by staying here it was perfect. The room size is comparable to a college dorm room, and the staff is very kind. The location is amazing. Don't expect the best hotel in New York, expect the best price and quality.

Surprisingly satisfying stay. Two nights staying here and quite pleased. The bed is comfy with plenty of pillows and towels. (No bed bugs: I checked!) The internet isn't the quickest but it's an old building with thick walls so we never heard a peep from other rooms. Yes: the location is one block from firehouse. It eventually quiets down early a.m.and hotel provides earplugs. Who goes to NYC to sleep or stay in the room much?
We loved the location one block to Times Square. We walked to theaters and many midtown locations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking garage rate was low and they parked my 2018 Genesis safely in a corner and let me get umbrella and things out during stay. I have one night left and hope I didn't jinx myself but so glad I booked here. Super cheap rate and I can spend my money on great meals and theater tickets instead!!

Good location on 47 street with 8th ave. Rooms are small and a bit old but kept clean. Good housekeeping service. Breakfast could be improved. Advantage is that coffee and tea, cookies are available 24 hours in lobby.

Yeeeessssss!!! This is the Hotel to book. The price is right. The Staff is very professional. The Rooms are small and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. We was close to all the hot spots in New York City. This will be our go to Hotel, going forward. Thank you EconoLodge for my first New York experience. You deserve an A!

awesome! Clean! Comfortable bed & pillows. Great staff...great breakfast...delicious croissants....convient location off the beaten path. Street noise but what do you expect in Times Square....I slept right through it.

Really nice hotel, super clean, friendly staff! The location is central but hidden, so you have to look closely for the sign! Ask for Willy, he's usually sitting at the Front desk! He is the most adorable and kind man i have ever met and make sure to grab the 5.30 cookies and listen closely to his stories, cause he has good ones!

Excellent newly renovated hotel. Comfortable rooms. Small and modern, but typical size for Manhattan and at a cheaper price than many other hotels in the area. Great location, too

The rooms are pretty cheap in cost but are close to Times Sqare.the rooms are quite small but you only need a place to put your head at night.

Very nice! Economic price, clean room. Small but a lot enough for NYC. Just in the Time Square. Easy access. The attendants are very gentle, especially Singh that let the breakfas ready for all.😉

For the price and location. I will stay there every time. The rooms are small, but the goal is just to have a safe place to store things and sleep. The city has so much more to offer

Outstanding staff, both reception and housekeeping. Ridiculously close to times square. Rooms so small they are actually a source of entertainment for at least a day. Clean and gets the job done

Good points first, 3mins away from Time Sq, clean rooms, friendly house keeping. Bad points, it's as small as you could imagine, just enough to move around the bed, street noisy at night but the sound of the Aircon drowns it out somewhat.

Beautiful dining room with high quality food to match Safe and peaceful location Times sqaure, New york. A fine choice of hotel for tourists visiting New York.

Great place to stay in NYC. Lots to do in walking distance. Kaela at the front desk was amazing! Super helpful and great attitude. Enjoy!
