Overall Jacoby Medical Center it's pretty decent. With that being said the issues that I have is when you call the hospital no one ever picks up. And in the emergency room when taking blood some of the nurses don't know what they're doing I had another stick my blood she couldn't get the needle in blood was going everywhere even on my pants. They also put the IV tube wrong in my arm when I was getting a CAT scan the the technician operating the machine had to stop because my arm was swollen up because the fluid was not going in the tube it was going directly in my vein. Also when I took x-rays I left my chain in there when I went back to get it but there's only 10 minutes when I was gone I couldn't find my chain and no one knows what happened to it. I was never compensated for it I even check with lost and found and nothing came of that.

Excellent hospital and bedside manners. We came with my mom who was on vacation here and needed assistance because she fainted. The primary doc who worked with her was great and very knowledgeable. He explained everything with a lot of details. The staff at the front desk was also great, friendly and courteous. I have no complaints.

Most of the staff are professional, have good manners and polite.
So far, I have had only one bad experience. A nurse's poor attitude to do direct me the proper procedure which I didn't know. However, that one bad experience won't stop me from rating 5 stars.
The doctors are amazing - very detailed.

Since I have been going there I never had any problems with them. They are really nice and professional all the nurses and doctors,they take your health and the babies health very seriously, when I send any messages to the doctor's they get back to you so quickly I was amazed. This is why I chose this hospital. Love them dearly.

I am not a U.S. resident, with no insurance. I suffered a hard fall resulting in a head trauma, went to Jacobi N.C. Bronx. I was given the full range of all necessary life saving treatment, provided excellent medical care by staff and (doctors/residents) professionals, at levels I did not expect. Furthermore, I am very thankful that Emergency Medicaid saved me significant unexpected expenses that I would not have been able to afford.

I have been with Jacobi for sixty two years. I have been in and out of the hospital often. Doctors , nurses and staff have always been great to me. My PCP Dr. Mathew Love has been my doctor for over thirty years and he has been through it all with me. I have seen this hospital come from the bottom to the top. I would not change from Jacobi for nothing in the world.

Knowing that you guys are very very busy in this part of the city, I am appreciate the fact that you had time to see me and did what you had to do when it needed to be done. I’m also very happy that I get to see the same doctors over and over again so they get to know me and anything that I need to have done they can assess quickly, the staff is pleasant they do what they need to do and I understand all the stress that they go through So thank you very much. I am definitely suggest the people within the neighborhood and wherever you must be if you need to come here to come here because they do they have to do you just have to give them the time to do it.

I love Jacobi Medical Center it's the best it's always clean, the doctors explain stuff they don't hold back and they make sure you are in great condition and they care about their patients. Now some of the nurses not all the nurses they do act ghetto they be laughing loud while sick people are in their rooms, they be talking about other patients business out in the open what happened to patient doctor confidentiality it's none in there but the one nurse that help me was marvelous she was back in fourth while not only helping me but helping other patients...they made sure I had my Ct scan, my blood work, I needed a sonogram, they made sure my pain was gone they did go above and beyond for me thank you Jacobi for everything y'all did for me, with the exception of some this is an overall great hospital

I was hit by a car was cheated at Jacobi hospital emergency, the doctor's care was exceptional.
But the nurse's that were giving me care on the 4th floor rm. 4A was horrible and disrespectful especially nurse Sonia having baby shower on the job and not attending to the patients smh

My experience has been extremely great.I love how up to date patients are kept on medications and appointments. Patients are able to access their records, requests refills or requests to speak to /request an appointment with a physician. The experience with NYC Health + Hospital/ Jacobi has been great!

Base on my pursuit for adequate health Care after transferring from two other private hospitals where I didn't get the proper care that I felt I deserved I transferred to Jacoby and found the healthcare and love and respect that I had been in pursuit of for over 30 years. I give a personal shout out to my doctor Kimberly Cartmill who deserves all the credit for my being able to maintain my health God bless her she was the person that I was seeking for over 30 years.

Great service! I never have to wait long. My provider is very conscientious about meeting my needs in real time. This is the best quality health care that I’ve ever had.

A feeling of wellness and comfort is already on you, as soon you enter the premises. If in the world of pathology “feeling” is a disease, then…so will it be! Ex animo.

It was a great experience. I had the doctors were excellent very helpful and the wait time wasn’t long. Jacobi hospital is a very good hospital.

Been going there for almost 2 decades and I enjoyed the comfort of my visits even tho I heard negative comments from a few....I won't switch to any other hospital

I have been going to Jacobi hospital since I was 10 yrs old, They saved My life at age 12, My daughter was born Premature 23 weeks digestion & they save her life as well She's 35 yrs old now 🙏 My Kids, Nieces & Nephews we're born there.. Been w/My Dr for 31 yrs, I would never change that, I love Jacobi 😁

I’ve been with my mother in 2 nursing homes, and 3 hospitals, the only place I did see my mother get better was Jacoby hospital, thks to that great team of Doctors and nurses and every worker, specially the 5th floor, special thks to Dr Damania, Dr Borges both are good Doctors and men of word, also Dra Maggiore, nurses- Ms Alice, Ms wrigt, Ms Bennett, Ms Lewis, Ms Joti, Ms Samuel, Mr Jeff, Mr ilau, Mr Charles, Ms Smith, Mr Davis, Mr Robert, Ms perfect, Ms Mariana, Ms De la Cruz, Ms Campbell, Ms Gonzalez.

The fast track is great. No super long waiting at this hospital. At least the two times I’ve been there. Doctors are efficient and patient answering all of my questions.
