I think this was the fastest care I ever received! Not only did I have a laceration in my finger but the staff made sure my child was safe and did not have to see the gory scene of my finger. The care was quick and they attended to my needs immediately!

They are the Best and have some of the hardest most dedicated workers in healthcare in my opinion. My review is in comparison to my the interactions and care I received within days of each other between NY Presbyterian hospital and Bronxcare. They have very detailed records and very attentive staff that provide excellent care and work well with each other at this hospital that do the Very Best they can with the little they are given by Administration.

A LONG READ. I complain a lot. Literally. But I would love to say thank you to BronxCare. Y'all really did me so great. I could've died had I not come in. I saw a two surgeons. The first surgeon was extremely respectful. I genuinely don't think he meant harm. But, his taste in jokes are extremely inappropriate. I needed a surgery and I didn't want anesthesia, I wanted to stay awake for my surgery. The type of surgery I was getting was needed right away but it wasnt a major surgery. And for whatever reason he only suggested different drugs where I couldn't stay awake for. The resident seemed really bothered by it too and wanted me to accept medicine. I can't remember her name but thankful for her because she convinced me to even have the surgery in the first place. His response was "I can give you propofol, do you know what propofol is? It's the drug that killed Michael Jackson. But don't worry, you won't die we monitor our patients. Michael Jackson wasn't monitored. And you'll be hooked up to machines where we can monitor you." 😑😐😬 was pretty much the face I made. His name was Dr. Marder if I remember correctly and needless to say I didn't let that man perform a damn thing on me. I stalled it out. Plus I had snuck food and you can't eat pre op. eventually a new shift came in and I got the pleasure of meeting Dr. Alireza Mehdizadeh, M.D.
Assistant Director, OB/GYN Residency Program. That doctor is so wonderful honestly. Had to be one of the nicest and most reassuring person even as a doctor lm surprised at his ability to to still have compassion for clients after he's been doing this over 23 years (I researched him. I wanted to know who was doing my surgery.) Dr. Mehdizadeh also gave me an alternative to going to sleep and said he really just needed me to be still and if I have the pain tolerance and since I had given birth to children without epidural this would be a walk in the park. Not verbatim words but that's what he said. I have never met a doctor also who didn't make me feel pressured or didn't give me other options. He gave me a local anesthesia and asked what music I like to listen to he was playing jazz and I told him to keep it there and the whole team was like thank god 😂😂😅😅😅 there was a wonderful lady who sat up next to me and literally held my hand the entire time. I don't know if she was a nurse, doctor, resident or what. But I know I appreciate her more than she'll probably ever know. I also know I had a lot of mood changes going through what I was going through and the whole Bronx care team maintained professionalism the entire time. I also had the most awesome nurses in my room ones name is Amposah?? I am not sure but she's a beauty from Ghana and has the sweetest demeanor. And is really there for the people. Like she didn't seem bothered at all even though I wasn't listening with holding my arm
Down during my blood transfusion. There was another nurse who was in and out to help her. Another beautiful soul. I didn't know her name she wasn't my nurse. But she wears a hijab(I added that so If she ever sees this I just want her to know it's her I was thanking her) this was all the staff on floor FIVE and FOUR and the ER. I THANK YALL so much and god bless y'all. Keep blessing others!!

I was extremely impressed with their MRI and nuclear Medicine department. The staff here was not only very professional but they also had the best State of the Art equipment in line with other hospital like NYU medical. What was even more impress was how Mr Eric Bates had his entire team working in such great professional cohesion with each other making sure that his team were professional and prepared. He also ensures that each of the patients know what to expect and that charts were complete and equipment up to par. Nicole, the young lady in the front, was extremely warm and kind to every patient who entered no matter what their socioeconomic background appeared to be. She even knew her retuning patients in a 1st name basis. The space was very clean, and well maintained. There was no over crowding and long waiting. Exceptional Job. Keep up the good work.

I stayed at this hospital so many times through all my years. And I must say this time around June 18, 2023 - June 26, 2023 I had the best nurses and PCP in BronxCare. Ms Sheena RN, Ms Blake RN, PCP Mr Marfo and PCP Ms De Los Santos when above and beyond to make sure I understood my diagnosis and my medications, and I was in the best comfort. They were very attentive with me and made sure I didn’t need anything. I felt I was a family member with the love and generosity they sincerely offered me. Real heroes! Thank you 🙏🏼

I personally never had an issue with this hospital back in 2018 I almost died due to pulmonary embolism and they saved me and my unborn baby life. I do my prenatal here it’s quick and they are always on point with everything. I have had two babies already In This hospital they are very attentive and caring the labor and delivery doctors are amazing. I am due to give birth again here March 19 I’m pretty sure I will have the same good experience I’ve had before.

I have been going to this hospital since I was 6 yrs old, and I most say that the only complaint I have is the nasty unprofessional ppl that they have working on the phones. They are one of the nasties rude ppl I have ever deal with. It’s Sad that because ppl like them this hospital have a really bad reputation. They should all be retrained. Other wise this hospital have saved my live multiple times, and both of my kids. When I was 25 yrs old, about to be 10 yrs ago, OMG. I was induced because of medical reasons and after giving birth I had 2 TIA’s ( a small stroke) I remember my blood pressure was 215/196 at a point. This hospital saved my love and of my baby. I will add that the is one one of a few times they have saved my life. Every hospital has bad employees like everyone else. But I most say I was treated there and I can go on and on about experiences my family member and I have about Bronx care.

I just left the Emergency room, I had a really bad abscess. Dr. Bennett and his helping nurse made the procedure easier and made me feel comfortable. It was a fast procedure and the Dr. was making sure to come in the room to check on me. Very great full.

Wow, had an amazing experience having a toe procedure performed here. The podiatrist Dr Joanna Ayoud (DPM) who operated on my toe has a private practice and knew exactly what she was doing. Got me in and out in no time! Oh yeah, and best of all I didn’t feel a thing. Staff was friendly and fast. Couldn’t believe it. VIP treatment. A+++

I have never been to the medical practice, but I received the best customer service from an employee named Carmen when I called to make an appointment. I am impressed by the level of care and helpfulness I received in this one phone call. Great first impression!

Anyah the RN is a great part of the hospital. She takes care so well of the patience. My grandmother ms. Sanchez is there and I never seen someone treat her with so much care and love. She is very attentive and professional. I want to share this with everyone if you have any emergencies I would recommend this hospital but definitely ask for Anyah. We are truly blessed to come across someone like her. We want to say thank you to her and all the staff. She deserves a raise wooho!!!
